anyone els have problems open the game? says opening form, and just stops, abit lost how to launch it:-s

Yeah i had the same prob, I just kept restarting it until it worked... Found no way to fix the issue, IE reinstall and patch.

Yeah i had the same prob, I just kept restarting it until it worked... Found no way to fix the issue, IE reinstall and patch.

If you can't launch the game it may be because it requires WinRAR software to open it.

i have installed the game, now when i double click on the  LOTRO launcher, lotro starts, loading, and then says,  opening main form and close

i have reinstalled the game over and over.. ir wont simply open, anyone have  answer for this? shame if this issue will prevent me for playing the game :-((

Mine starts like an old truck.  Sometimes takes 4-5 times to get it going.  My kid when in the room makes "er er er er er er" sounds when I'm trying to start it. lol.....on his computer it starts every time with one double click.  But, his has problems when shutting it down......it slides down into the task bar and has to be closed from the task manager.  Strange.....

Here is my workaround to this problem.

 

The moment I click the desktop icon I move my cursor off the screen field of view.  I know that sounds crazy but it works every time for me when I do that.
