Blizzard Entertainment announces BlizzCon 2007. Get your best Tauren costume ready and book that flight to California! A year and a half ago, Blizzard hosted the first "BlizzCon," a convention celebrating the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo game universes and the amazing community of players who contribute to their continued popularity. Today, Blizzard announced that BlizzCon will once again open its doors on August 3, 2007. Ahh, a good excuse to drive to Anahiem again. The last Blizzcon was pretty awesome, and I figure this one will be even better as Blizzard will have the few small problems from the last con all figured out now. Best quote from BlizzCon 05: Metzen talking to a standing room only pannel on the lore of Warcraft- Audience person: "In The Burning Crusade will we be able to take on Illidan?" Metzen: "I think he'd kill you for even thinking of such a question. Next question." |

I hope we will host an european version of Blizcon someday. NA gets blizcon, Asia gets a load of tournaments and we at europe are pretty much screwed. There are over 1,5 million European WoW players, surely a similar event must be possible.
