Well, t-shirt and some good pictures of course. I warn you now, some of these could be construed as "SPOILERS" for others playing the game. Decided to try to make it to Angmar with my level 14 Lore-Master......never made it. Did get close though and did see some very interesting things along the way. In the beginner areas it seemed I spent alot of time fighting wolves, bears and bugs. This is Middle Earth....where are the monsters? The journey starts.... The bear and I..... Some of the creatures we enjoyed......or not....notice the lvl 45 elite dragon kind creature... Oddball stuff and NPC's....The guy with the beard and the funky thing......Amazing graphics....
Ahhhh yes....the scenery. It quite simply does not get any better....not that I've seen in a MMORPG at least.
WARNING: The following pictures are of a special place within the books and movies. Very much a spoiler if you are playing the game IMO.
This place was absolutely beautiful....I have never seen anything like it in an MMORPG.
WARNING: These are the king of spoilers IMO if you are playing the game....especially RP'ers. Dont click them. You will enjoy seeing them for the first time within your game.
Some of the important characters from the books/movies.....
The journey was an absolute blast....I encourage anyone playing the game to go exploring. The beauty of Middle earth will amaze you. At lvl 14-15 you will die.....alot. Bring lots of money to repair your armor and from the words of Jenny herself..... "Ruuuuunnnn Forest!!!"
Not sure if this post will work.....It seems a little long. If not bear with me and I'll see about fixing.
About the game, LOTRO. It is very similar to every other decent MMORPG I've played. It does not set any new standards for gameplay. Same ol' stuff....different package. The wraping on the package is a different story. This is quite simply the most beautiful MMORPG I have ever played. The pictures do not do it justice.

Great pictures mate, good on ya for sharing em with the community. LotRO is beautiful, these pictures just prove it imo. You CAN have amazing graphics and run it on an average comp! |

I'm using whatever came on the pre-order dvd. The graphics are set as high as they can go via the options menu. Screen size is 1280 x 1024....so if when you click on the links your computer shrinks the images, hover your mouse over the image in the bottom right hand corner to bring up the actual image size button. You will get the images I was seeing in game. |
