Be the first to enter the ancient world of Hyboria and battle it out like a true barbarian. As the gates to the online world of Hyboria are opening, you have the chance to become one of the select adventurers who may answer the call and come to the aid of Conan. The search for beta testers is upon us, and we invite every able man and woman to offer their aid in the quest for a better gaming experience. Now you can make a difference. Beta testers get free and early access to the game in order to help the developers track down program errors. Also, they provide valuable feedback on the game design, functionality and fun factor. Please sign up using this form, but please note that applying does not guarantee acceptance. Read more here.

You'd think a site like "MMORPG.com" would know the difference... Please fix the headline, you're just confusing people. The game is more than 6 months away from release, I hardly think Open Beta is anywhere is sight.

The link it takes you too says it is OPEN BETA SIGNUPS. They didn't claim it to be starting today, these are just signups.

Then this is merely the next, larger stage of closed beta. Open beta means anybody who wants to can come and play the game. If they're picking & choosing, which they clearly are, then it's not an open beta!
