I think it's high time something was said about this. FlyFF is beyond a joke now. It used to be a cool game that was friendly and fun to play. I've been a player for as long as it's been on Gpotato, and since Chris left and feeLz become the big cheese GM, FlyFF has turned to shit. The servers are CONSTANTLY down, the game is FULL of server related glitches, and after two 24+ hour emergency maintenances this week, nothing is fixed. Not ONE goddamn thing!! Most glitches STILL present months ago are STILL at large, and causing many players a lot of problems and grief.... BUT, the problems do not end here, no siree! feeLz, the supposed GM left in charge of everything, is a complete, total ASS! He's an asshole. I've seen many newbies harassed or ignored by him when they contact him for innocent help requests, such as where to find public offices and stuff like that. Even I, a lvl 62 elementer, get quite a handful from this guy, and to make it worse, he's the only active GM, so whatever he says goes. Chris was kind and helpful, although occasionally annoying. He needs to return to see what kind of ass he's left us with. I forgot to mention that feeLz also helps elite players and guilds cheat by giving them premium items for free and adjusting their guild status manually, not to mention he also invites people not officially employed by Gpotato to be GMs. How the hell Gpotato and Aeonsoft cannot see all this, I have no clue. Probably because Aeonsoft are Korean and Gpotato don't care. To top it all off, I complained about this same thing on the official FlyFF site, but the thread lasted a mere 10 minutes before it got deleted, despite that I never broke any rules and even refrained from swearing. FlyFF staff are asses who suck up to the GM's unacceptable behaviour and incompetance, and cannot handle the truth. Gpotato also clearly barely ever report problems to Aeonsoft, or I'm confident most of them would've been fixed somewhere in the entire year FlyFF has been running. To put it short, unless you have a LOT of patience and love for FlyFF, don't frustrate yourself by continuing FlyFF. That is my advice. In closing, I'm looking for an alternative MMORPG. Can anyone suggest anything? And feel free to comment on anything said here!

Although this is quite true, Chris apparently left us with feeLz because he felt he was a "mature and responsible guy". feeLz and Chris seemed to know each other personally, but while Chris was nice, feeLz was an ass!

I failed to mention in the first post that since the game's opening a year ago, the experience rate for monsters you slay has been dropped drastically. I've been lvl 62 for a while now, so I know it has nothing to do with my level. You can level up at a fair rate for the first 25-30 levels, but after that you'll find a monster of your level gives you only between 0.01% - 0.08% experience. I and many others have concluded that Gpotato seem to have done this on purpose to coerce people into buying premium items, because while the game appeals to many, not many bought premium items at all in the past. Now they've entirely rigged the game so that only premium shop customers can thrive. If you think this corruption ends at the GMs, think again. Elite Players used to charge 60M or sometimes even lower, to sell their pet to you. Price gouging is now everywhere in the world of FlyFF and pets now fetch prices of 150M penya or more each. Think you can trade your perfectly good spy set for another set that is SUPPOSED to be equal value? No! People will now ask for an extra 10M on top of your set, for their set. The greed doesn't end on FlyFF. If you're looking for a good "FREE-TO-PLAY" game, this is NOT for you. It's hardly free at all.

I've noticed the same thing too, the constant server problems are very annoying. It's gotten to the point where i can play for maybe 45 min.s before i get cut off from the servers. Flyff is also far from a free game at this point, and i admit all the items you can buy on this game are either ugly or useless. Also even if you spend money on this game you risk the chance of haveing a rollback and loseing ALL the items you bought that day. They say you can contact someone to get your gpot. back but 75% of the time they never get back to you. I've seen players who lost their gpot. durring rollbacks and have been contacting the flyff staff everyday for a month and never got their gpot. back. The fact of the matter is that this game is one big scam now. They want you to spend your money on this game and half the time you can't even play because you either get cutt off after 45 min.s of play or you can't even log in at all. OH for those who visit the website, the website constantly says the server status is up (it never changes even durring maintainces). (\_/) (O.o) (> <) This is Bunny. Wow, you guys are good at making me remember more problems with Gpotato. :P The site itself is badly written and managed. Constant cookie conflicts cause some accounts not to remember the login, the top 10 levels board has NOT BEEN UPDATED FOR 11 MONTHS!!! Eouen has not played for 8 months now, and it still says he's lvl 101, but I've seen higher lvl people in game, such as Zeus and ShortYellowBus (both players had GM help with cheating of course). The forums give you an error and EVEN a link to debug mode (which ONLY forum admins should be able to access) when you try to post something sometimes. These problems have been around FOREVER and noone has bothered to do a thing about them. As I stated in my beginning post, say one slack thing or complain on those forums and your post gets deleted immediately, you're expected to put up with their incompetence and their crap, and kiss their ass and call it a triple whip banana split. FlyFF itself, which is made by Aeonsoft, isn't at fault at all. Everything wrong with the game is the sheer product of the corrupt and highly incompetant bastards at Gpotato. Everybody take your Gpotatoes and make GFries, 'cause that's ALL they're good for!!

Agreed I have stoped playing this game for a long time, not only because I couldn't log in the game, but because they didin't care for updates at the game to make it better (they made it worse anyway) but every week or so a pet or cash shop item is made so they'll become richer. And... I have reported SO many hackers but they just didn't notice all my emails that I have been sending every day and I lost like every my penya and my time of course playing this game (that was a bit better at first before the 7version).

Well FlyFF was my first MMORPG, it was so amazing to me at first! I love the game so much it was fun and there was alot of nice people on like most MMORPG's. I play it for about 1-2 months then i tried another MMORPG Silkroad it was so much better at the time now it just sucks, like other free2play MMORPGs.
ganjnehri Novice Member Joined: 3/31/07 Posts: 37 buff plz	4/01/07 3:51:44 PM#14 Report this post Explain why you are reporting this post: (750 characters max.) lol guyz i was trying to find a mmo to play, searching forums brought me here. i didnt even play this game but i m sure at this game is exactly same as Knight Online after reading a few threads.. i (yes stupid me) played addictively ko for a year and i m glad i gave it up. it was a great game for pvp i can guess flyff is also great.i m telling u stop playing games like this if u can because things wont be better as u hope. u will be dissapointed.while u work for ur lvl and gear, ppl will get them easy way by glitches or gm help or bugs or hacks whatever which is not fair.. and they say free for life, dont be tricked. ko has a status info as it is free, no its not, it has a different status actually free2play-pay2connect lol. they make u start playing free then force u to pay to go on playing.so i think this game is using the same path what ko did and u wont be happy seeing all these hooah!

Why even bother playing a game where the game master them selves acts like ignorant asses! Im only staying cues of my guild i made from nothing to realy bigg..! If it wasent for them i would have left long time ago..

Well i played this game for awhile now, and I'm happy to report it never causes any problems on my PC. My only dislike of the game is when I was a low lvl they always pk me lol, but that comes from playing in a pk server. On the issue of the premium shop, you don't have to buy anything so in that sense the game is free, but the game is designed to make it easier for premium shop users.

Well monster as a GM was fine, even tho Xarfox is getting everywhere. Here is the problem, xarfox abuses his powers everywhere. He is running like little kiddo and starts banning players for harassment, don't forget he is a kiddo on his early 20ies. Keep in mind that many times xarfox is replying as monster since he wants to cover up his abusive actions toward players. In one word, avoid all game where xarfox is a GM, you will get banned!!

AGREED i have read all the post so far and what u guys are saying is sadly enof true...... any ways about the % thing in monday( in LA time ofcurse) i was level 40 trying to kill a level 43 when i kill it it give me 1.30% that was good at the time but the next day that i log in and try to kill the son of a gun it only give me 0.20% like that just BS. and about the item thing also the same more expensive and the items in the npc totaly useless --.-- . and one more thing another mmorpg that is good and dosent have this kind of problem let me know XD i want to play other mmorpg XD
