Looking forward to playing again this weekend. I hoping there is more solo friendly content.

Any word on whether this offer is for all DDO customers, or US only?
Codemasters is after all not Turbine - and they did not always follow Turbine's example (10d trial vs 7d trial, for example) |

I was wondering the same and sad to say it does seem to be US only. When you look on the US site it's one of their main news stories there and there's plenty of talk on the forums about it but when you look on the EU site there's not a thing on there. It's also normally standard for a blanket E-mail to go out to all previous subscribers but i've certainly not received any mail. CoH/CoV - D-Zol/Kinslayer |

So is it still hard as hell to find a group? I had a month subscription during last December and remember waiting for an hour+ before I would log off out of frustration, and I did this day after day. I only found a group once. I was playing on the supposedly "most populated" server, yet there was nobody around at all.

In the least, you should be able to advance level 5 by doing solo quests. What I would like to see is a greater faction reward when completing quests with fewer then a full party. So having 3 lvl 5 characters instead of 6 would grant a slightly larger reward. As it stands now, exp debt has minimal impact on game play. Two sucessful quests will typically clear most extensive debt. |

Previously, I never had much time to play DDO, and I am going to take this oppertunity to judge the game properly. I've been a fan of the D&D franchise ever since I was a ten yeard old lad, and so I am really hoping that I can get into this game. Previously, the lack of an 'outside' world put me off, as did the seeming lack of actual role-playing, something I was hoping would be this game's strong point. Hopefully if I give it some time, I shall discover that these things exist in the game. Else it seems like an awful wasted oppertunity for a great game. Just my luck though, at time of writing I am having trouble with my ISP, and am having to resort to using 'dial-up'! Don't know if the game will still run, but can't hurt trying. |

Free is good. I can play for free. DDO is definitely worth $0.00 US. ...but not one cent more. Even though I posted here, don't think I actually want to have a conversation with you. |
