As for the price they said it would compete with other mmos so its probably going to be the same price as your average mmo.

Fees really started in earnest with UO and became entrenched with EQ1. So, really, the pricing model is 'EQ1 - Clone'. And yes, it is likely that any MMORPG that does not SHOUT Free-To-Play (Like Guild Wars did), will be Pay-To-Play in the $15 a month range. |

Actually games before UO had fees, by the hour. People would spend $100+ a month to play some games then when the MMORPGs came about they made monthly fees not hourly. Other crap happened attempting to add more fees if you played over X amount of hours but that never went through so what ever.
It's pretty obvious when a MMORPG is being made, and it's not an Asian Grind fest, it will more then likely have a monthly fee, even some Asian grinders have fees. |

I don´t get it.. Why they wont change monthly fees to login times? For example: 10 dollars would be about 50 logins. So that gamers that dont have much time to play wouldn´t need to hurry up and try to take those losted playing days when should rest. As fire from hell raises and from sky falls fiery rocks to ground and earthguakes cracks the ground as fires burst to sky as pilars and heavy metal plays. |

well if you want $10 for say 50 logins... what if your computer keeps dying so you keep logging in, thus waisting money on logins? what if you log in once and never log out cuz your computers so good you can just alt tab and do something else never having to worry about payment? a monthly fee is clearly the only way any MMO can make cash besides ads |

Maybe, I didn´t think that as wide as that... Damn.. It looked like a great idea. As fire from hell raises and from sky falls fiery rocks to ground and earthguakes cracks the ground as fires burst to sky as pilars and heavy metal plays. |

Yeah thats true. A 12 year old doesn't think that way. XD Monthly fees almost assure you that your community will not be run by kiddies. This game doesn't look like kids should be playing it anyways. |

If theres 12 year-olds running around within Fallen Earth, we will need to talk to their parents about what they let their kids do during the day... shows how good our next generation will be :D But yea, $15.00 USD a month (if i were to guess for this MMO) isnt really that bad. i mean the graphics look like their worth it, especially after all the time the developers have put into this MMO. i might be willing to pay 20 a month for it... but dont tell the devs that so it doesnt go that high :) |
