Entropia Universe gives us a look at some of the features that are coming up in Version Update 8.11.

Market Value History

Version Update 8.11 will make the Market Value History of items available to all in the Entropia Universe. When opening an Item Info panel, a new Market Value History icon, in the lower right corner, will allow any participant to see the value history of an item based on data taken directly from the official Entropia Universe Auction. A new icon has also been added to the Action Library.

This free service will allow participants to examine both detailed and average trends at daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and even decade intervals.

Participant Content (PC)

To help Entropia's emerging artists we've included a new property for PC capable items: the name of the avatar that last modified the content will be visible in the Item Info panel. This will help in verifying the authenticity of art works exchanging hands within the Entropia Universe.

Naturally, these are just two of many features from the upcoming VU 8.11.

Well...i don't think it will change for the better...much....if at all.
The way i see it.....every VU makes it harder and harder to make the so-called virtual living....if you ask me, it takes much from the fun factor away ....but we'll wait and see

I think the sweat limit and the ammo in loot was two good idea. Bad that MindArk have more wrong steps for us gamers then good ones.

OMG! Ponies!

I used to enjoy this game, but when I came back to it a few days ago I was really disappointed.

1) The graphics are REALLY bad compared to other games. You'd think that with all the money Mindark are making they would be able to upgrade the graphics engine!

2) The controls are awkward. I could hardly do anything in-game with the weird interface and key stokes needed to do anything simple. Why can't they just stick to the conventional controls most other games use?

3) Lag is so bad...and for what? It's not like it's my graphics card or anything, and when I'm in a full district in Guild Wars for example it doesn't lag near as much as EU lags in an outpost of about 20 people. Quite weird if you ask me.

4) I realised that Mindark can completely control how much people make. If they feel they need a higher profit this year, all they have to do is decrease the loot drops so that people will deposit more, as well as decrease the amount of sweat gained from creatures. Might I also add that the sweat price is dropping so low (though not at fault on Mindark's part) that it's almost impossible to make a virtual living without depositing. Maybe they should incorporate some other means of making money without depositing (that's if they can spare the few less dollars they could gain by not implementing this every month)

The above are what I'd like to see changed in the game. Yes, nice little market indicators and things are nice, but improving what is there already needs to happen fast! Who knows, maybe then I'd go back to it one day.
