A couple of friends of mine have both received 7 days free game play, for their in-active accounts. I can only assume that this goes for all in-active accounts (or perhaps, that have been playing for a certain amount of time). So, check your e-mails as you may be able to claim your 7 days of free time.
This isn't a thread to cause trouble, so please don't reply with sarcastic remarks of why you quit in the first place. I'm just merely informing you. |

CCP can not be trusted. Spend your cash elsewhere. |
Originally posted by iCehCCP does this when their subs have dropped...its a pattern we have seen in the past. Tellem to use the time up, but to be informed of the ccp scandal info before they decide if they want to resub (that is a fair way to be, they make an informed decision then) |

WTS - a clue. cheap. I do not support stupidity or weakness. Sorry. |
i've got a couple of expired eve accounts. the ones that went past the trial days and into the "pay 2 play" period, received that email. the ones that only lasted for the trial, did not receive the email.

Hmm .. wondered why I was suddenly offered 7 day free game play via email when I hadn't played my characters - Liscia Thierese from 2003 and Cassi O'Peia from 2005 - in a couple of years. After reading all the drama revolving around the accusations of cheating, I have zero appetite to renew any lingering interest in Eve Online. Any embers for this game are now officially extinguished - along with the email which I black-listed and will automatically be deleted from the mail-server (thanks Mailwasher). Scratch another Sci-fi MMORPG. Fortunately, EverQuest 2 will provide me with a lot of play unless SOE revert to type (it's in their DNA, damn it!) and release a POP [Planes of Power] expansion. By the time I quit EQ2 in a couple of years, I hope to see a decent Sci-fi game - in other words, Funcom working on AO [Anarchy Online] 2; or at least the Bioware rumours bearing fruit. Regards, |

Yeah I got it too for my inactive account. 7 days free with your old character intact or "Buy 2 months get a 3rd month" free offer. If anything I'll do the 7days and set some week long skill again. Who know if I wanna come back to it tho.....

Doubling in population every single year since it's release. They do this after every major release. Exodus, RMR, Revelations. This is the 3rd time they've done a 'come back and see what's new' campaign. |
