ive been told by a friend there may be a 3D Starcraft MMORPG.its supposed to be called Starcraft Online, like sc wasnt already online so id love it if u proved me wrong. i hope thre isnt a sc mmo.

It's not completely unlikely that the next Blizzard MMO would be based in the Starcraft Universe, but since it's their IP and they didn't do it yet I'd say that there is no such thing.

this isn't the first one to talk about this MMO but will it happen i don't think so. We will see, i don't think blizzard will make another one any time soon |

we are going to more likely see WoW2 before SCU. i wouldn't be totaly opposed to the idea of SCU if it was done well.

starcraft, obviously a space-age game.. umm i don't see it staying RTS, cause lets be honest RTS games just aren't as big anymore. sure plenty of people play warcraft 3, even starcraft: brood war, but if it was an RTS, blizzard would have to put a lot more effort to create something visually orgasmic for all the original starcraft fans, who wear old-person diapers now, to wet themselves (and not care because the diaper does its job well). alright, that was gross.. but still let's look at whats available now for our sci-fi fancies. star wars, star trek, stargate.. lets keep this "star" trend alive eh? Starcraft: Universe, the MMO. Choose your race, choose your class.. it's all workable if there's enough thought put into it. even better, it's space.. fly around in space in your wraith, jump into an overlord that takes you to another part of the planet, the possibilities are flourishing.. of course when i vision that I take a real good look and see WoW, starcraft style.. but ya know.. ppl would play that. who wouldnt want to fly to a Zerg controlled planet and mow down a bunch of zerglings...... damn.

Considering that Blizzard had that April Fools thing last year (or year be4?) based around starting false rumours about development of a new "Starcraft MMO", i find it hard to believe that they'd turn around now and all of a sudden say 'hey it wasnt a joke, we're really doing it'. It would make so much more sense if there was a Diablo MMO... I remember hearing rumours about a Diablo MMO years ago. I'm sure that Blizzard would be much more interested in continuing their original RPG line by turning it into an MMORPG. On the flip side, however, what about a Lost Vikings MMO? |

hmm but Diablo, the first, also was rumored to have a "secret cow level" and to our surprise Blizzard decided to turn that rumor into reality for their next project, D2. theres no telling what they'll do |

I'd rather see Star Craft 2, than an MMO,
An mmo would be good, if it was f2p, but im such a big fan of Star Craft, but so poor, cant afford to pay monthl... On another note, I cant wait for Project Revolution ;) |
