1. there are 2 EU servers (1 pve and 1 pvp)
2. on the pve server you have duels (you don't lose anything in a fight), on the pvp server I think they changed open to faction against faction, you drop 20% of your stuff and 15% money (if I remember right). 3. yes you can group and solo as you want. For some content you absolutely need to group. LFG: you can shout in the chat and add an LFG flag to your name, its pretty standard. The game is designed in a way to encourage grouping. All classes are depending on each other to be efficient. 4. they are still balancing the classes. If you like offensive melee, Rogue and Monk are nice classes. 5. yes lvl cap is 50 for now. I guess it can take you a few months to reach this, depends on how much you play. |

Thanks for the reply mate, some other questions poped up while i was reading your reply. 1. Why so few EU servers? Are they not expection a big EU turn out at launch? Or are the servers capable of holding alot of players that there isnt simply a need for more? Or can EU players play on US servers and they think that all EU players will roll on the US ones? 2. What are the effects of dieing in PvP? EXP lose? Items drop? Or nothing like WoW? Thanks again. :D Current MMO: Nothing |

Originally posted by Spriggan05 I have to say that 2 Euro servers seems a little inadequate. Im fairly sure they can launch additional ones fairly quickly mind you, if the need arises. |

I'm from the UK, and later today, I'll be rolling my first toon on the EU PVE server.
I'd expect most EU players to be doing the same thing, considering the network lag I suffered during BETA 5. |

Thanks guys, But again i have yet another Question! (Dont hurt me) If i were to buy and download the game through Sony or Direct2Drive and use that CD-Key, will i still have the option to roll on a EU server or is that CD-Key fixed to the US servers like some games. Im thinking that its prolly the same as EQ2 were you pick which version you want when you log on. Thanks. Current MMO: Nothing |

Originally posted by Spriggan05 Don't know for CERTAIN, but I'd guess its like EQ2 where your choice of license agreement determines what servers you have access to. |

Originally posted by Spriggan05 Your digital download purchase has no bearing on what region of server you choose to play on. Also, Direct2Drive is only availiable for US & Canada. I pre-ordered my game from Sony Station (availible for EU ppl), and they flagged my account ready for Vanguard. They do not provide keys of any sort, either. Once purchased, your account is already up and running. Just remember to login to the game with the same Account which you made your purchase with. I might add, if you decide to buy the game from Sony, I'd reccommend d/l'ing the game from Fileplanet (same client) in one go. Sony's bandwidth is terrible! |

You can chose any server you want. And later you can also move your toon form one server to other if you want, for free.
The devs said they have several servers ready to plug in if there is a need. |

Originally posted by dandy230 I actually got Vanguard from D2D but I have used dlgamer many times and they are a very efficient and friendly operation. |
