 Gotta share this one: Some noob was begging in Newbie Help. He got the following advice: Saki Archeus > Beggar is a valid eve path, just not via evemail or in this channel. try 0.0 space, loads of people around gates love to give stuff. I wonder if he followed that advice  |

can't directly quote cause cbf deleting all the stuff before and after it.

HEHE I've done that... my corp is blue to most alliances in our area so I like to make safe spots within range of POS guns :) Then if an enemy scans me down they are in for a nasty surprise :) |

I was mining alone in secure space back in august of 03 (summer of launch). A player came into my belt and told me he would provide cover from NPC's while I mined. I thought..cool I'll switch to the Mining cruiser/mining Indy set up (double boxed). I released my mining drones and this guy starts firing on them (in secure space). Concord arrives and kills him.. Him: WTF dude! Me: Took the words out of my mouth Him: Why did you do that? Me: Do what? Him: kill me? Me: I didn't. Him: Bullshit! Me: You attacked my mining drones and concorde killed you...we are in secure space. Him: What are mining drones? Me: Drones... you use...for um... Mining. Him: Oh... I thought they were attacking you. Can I have my stuff back? Me: Yes.
