What's your source on that rumor? No mention of it over at mmocenter that I've seen... Not that there's too much being said there anyway... but at least ONE person in the community has seen the game recently (near the end of July).

My prediction? The Chronicle will release before Atriarch.  (I say that with great affection for World Fusion and Atriarch...)

the simple fact that 20 bucks from ~100 preorders is so valuable to them should tell you something.

The devs have no clue whats going on, evident by the sheer lack of information. They cant post a dev blog because it was say "This week we phoned microsoft as we still havent installed the visual basic dev kit as we cant get the installer working"

This game is officially toast in my book, although to be honest I stopped believing anything the devs and CG said a long time ago. There is no spin left for CaesersGhost to convince me otherwise anymore

Also, since I won my pre-order from the mmorpg.com contest they had way back when, I cannot ask for a refund. I can, however, request that the devs of The Chronicle repay me for my loss by paying for the subscription time to an mmo worth playing that has actually been released. I doubt they would respond, but I can request it:D Actually, now that I think about it, I wonder what their contract with mmorpg.com states as a penalty if mmocenter does not provide its part of the contest by not actually turning out the game that was promised.

heh..i had a metaphor of my own in response to 'her' children metaphor, but i guess it was too deep for CG and it was deleted shortly after it went up.

but im with you 100%, delays are one thing but the cycle of lies, blaming the few fans they have for no information(remeber the infamous information leak, when there was still no information to leak..and still isnt) and now its just them grilling hotdogs and talking down to the people they stole money from.

I have to admit...RR had me convinced that they were trying to do something different and that they were actually gamers that had an idea of what we wanted.  But they have shown their true colors. 

Anyway, they can have my $20...and all I can say is that I don't think I'll take anything they say as true from now on.  They've blantantly lied to us, and they will again.

Dang I wonder what went wrong...Another skill system based mmorpg doomed :( Wonder what will happen to Africa too, made by same company.

(africast)basicly bought rr. you won't be told this, but thats what happened to the chronicle. everyone is working on africa mmorpg.
now cg will probalby say no its not true but its already been slipped that most of the team is working there, and with just a little thought you can see why...thats where they got the bulk fo their money. the one thing they did right was trick them into thinking they were a real develpment company and not some ragtag group of people.
and why the chronicle is still a few goblins running around a small dungoen a year after it was supposed to be live.
notice at least africa was snuck into e3? not a sighting of the chronicle though.

When did that happen? ...I don't remember that.

When I walk around it looks like everybody's working on The Chronicle... Perhaps I should take a second look or load the latest build, perhaps we named the Africa client "The Chronicle" though...

everyone i would like to take this oppurtunity to apologize to CG and the rest of the RR team. i am truly sorry.

see, all you had to do was tell us that,

even though this latest, greatest build cant come up with a new ss or video or even a tidbit of information in the past 6 months ..that the employess are indeed enjoying it for yourselves in between kosher hotdog parties in the parking lot.
