Hrmmm at first i understood it was F2P because its Acclaim and acclaim will also be launching 9dragons and 2moons wich will be f2p but i just filled in the beta tester survey and final question was "We are thinking about allowing people to pre-order Carpe Diem wich of the incentivies below do you personally find the most attractive?" one option was "first subscription fee" i fear the worst =( Which Final Fantasy Character Are You? It said specificly in my beta application that they are considering giving away "a free month of gamplay" when signing up and wanted to know if it was a good incentive to get people attracted to the game so I consider that pretty much meaning it will be P2P after the beta test is done... That is their current position on it anyways
