I still troll the Kettemoor forums, and found this today. The video was made by a friend of mine, and includes a number of former guild mates. Imo, not a bad showing considering Kettemoor is lightly populated.

Looks like PvP is doing fine on some servers. ^_^

Do players typically wear stormtrooper armor for PvP?

I think that the term (Is doing fine) or what it once was is loose to say the least.

See this will always be a small issue when it comes to facts:  What you call "OK" on your server compared to "Mine" stuff ..... this compared to what we had on Bria -- well, this would be considered one of the groups or side lol.    So -- I guess it's based on servers and what is considered.

On a side note:   What else in the game is there thats new anyway??  I actually would expect alot more then this considering this is all there is thats left to do.

Oh, lots of stuff.

You can do anything you want, really tons of things.

Um, there's pvp obviously. And you can do it in Restuss. And in Theed. You can also pvp in Coronet and Bestine. I hear Eisley isn't the best, but then there's Yavin and Endor.

And there's Legacy quest. Fun for entire family.

And once you're done with that, you can pvp. Perhaps as a BH. In Restuss. Or Theed.

Oh, and there's crafting. Swoops for example. Or, um, hmm, yea, there's also armor that can be crafted. But nobody really bothers since it's a pain getting the resources.

So, see, there's tons of fun stuff to do. There's also Luke and Vader.

I like the pretty lights myself.

It was funny, I logged in a friends account -- he had that Nickel Plated Launcher pistol that makes a HUGE giant circle on the ground and shoots firworks from it as you run around putting the target circle on everyone doing 0 damage.

Lol, Yep -- THAT is the NGE right there, alot of lights yet no substance.  The SIM version of the game was much much better then this arcade crap.   The sounds even suck.   But my favorite to this day is Jedi -- boy did they fuck that up so bad.... we go from a proud diverse class with limits and risk , to a Force Pole arm carying marketing ploy so that people that were to lazy to grind to get thiers or new kids that liked the commercials can have one.     What a joke... as told at the summits.. Man, you want to see angry people... look up videos from the summits and see what happend when people asked the Devs about FREE Jedi and why in the Hell they ruined that class...lol

I think the encore of boos and cheers went on for 3 mins with all the Devs hanging thier heads in shame.

So many bad things came from the NGE, the list is just so big I don't think they could resolve it.

Well thats the best example to use for the battlefront ripoff. That is just battlefront with some add ons and u have to pay for it monthly what bs lol. I see medic still has that crappy gas bomb that turns the screen into smog with oranges flying around in it how lame i hate that crap it takes up the whole dam screen and you cant sh#t either. That video really makes me feel good i cancelled i was commando and i thought what they did with commando was lame this really tops it Battlefront is free to play and more reliable then that crap uugh.

Of course it is, and that's part of my point. For a PvP event on a low population server, in a supposedly dying game, the turn-out wasn't bad.

The fact that PvP battles like this still occur at all is what matters.
