earth is full, go home |
Possibly turn off one of the CPUs? Many games are still having issues with Dual Core or multi-processor systems.

hmmmm... ok.. plan 2: BILLING AND TECHNICAL TELEPHONE SUPPORT We offer telephone support for billing and technical support issues. You may contact a member of our Billing or Technical Support Teams by calling the number below. We do not offer general game support via telephone and as such those calls will be directed to contact us using one of the other methods listed in this document. Guild Wars does not have a monthly fee. 1-512-225-6359 Give them "what for". |

Turning off a CPU Core: Open your Task Manager. When you see Lineage II (EXE) list in there, right click the program and go to "CPU Affinity" Then just uncheck one of the CPUs. Make sure you are doing this for the Lineage II client, and not just the launcher. If the launcher works fine, taht isn't your problem. There is a way to have different profiles for different games, but I don't know that off the top of my head. I will look around for it. I hope this helps! |

Oops. I don't think I was clear. I meant, if it doesn't just die on your launcher, then your launcher isn't your problem. Still try the CPU thing on the client as soon as you see it pop into your processes tab. There are a few games that have this problem. Oh, and by the way, it doesn't matter which core you turn off. Just uncheck either of them. |
