I don't care for some of Canada's policies and attitudes, but I certainly don't hate Canadians. The exact same question could be asked in reverse. I would say its more like a sibling rivalry. I think Canadians are arrogant, but then so are we, in our own ways. Guess it all works out in the end. H.

I think of it as brotherly love. Canada is sort of America's younger brother, so Americans always pick on Canadians all the time not really out of hatred, just the fact that they are there. If you have a younger brother then you realize this is true.

No No NO, you got it wrong. Americans don't hate all Canadians, just those silly French Canadians, since they are basically French and we hate the French for good reason. I think the rest of Canada hates the French Canadians also. They did want to become their own independent country after all. I can't tell you about recently but the French Canadians (mainly) used to become quite friendly when they learned someone was American. It's the English Canadians they get snarly with. As a general rule of thumb, the further west you get the more hate there is for French Canadians.

I love canadians. I had a lot of them as my guildmates. I always thought of them as my brothers then again, the guild was bassically about bonding with the guildmates. Either way I think it works.
