The website doesn't have very much information. It seems that most of NC Soft's websites are that way. I would think since it's supposed to come out in Q4 that it would have a bit more information. So far all I can tell is it's a futuristic, FPS-like game. I'm actually looking forward to it. Richard Garriot has made good games in the past, so I'm hoping he won't let me down. If anyone has anymore information on Tabula Rasa that'd be great. Post your views about the game. |

Sorry. But I'm betting you will. Monthly fees aren't that bad, they're about the same as a movie and some nachos, and with the time you spend playing, you won't be going to the movies much. |

What makes you think so? I saw the interview with Richard, and he mentions the game will be heavily based on instances, AKA Guild Wars. there IS a chance NCsoft will scrap the monthly fee. anyway, I was excited about the game untill I saw that interview where Richard said the game will be heavily based on instances. not my cup of tea. |

I was thinking because most MMO's remain on a P2P basis, and NCSoft already has one free instanced game. Plus, D&DO is heavily instanced, and still remains on a P2P plan. Instances don't always mean free, and if it's due in Q4, and it hasn't already been announced that it will be free to play, then it probably won't be. |

Yea. Of all the things Richard said, being mostly instances hurt me the most. That's the part I hate about GW because the community is lacking. I say most things should be open except a few, certain dungeons. |

If you enjoy jumping you should try Anarchy Online. As you level up (as your strength increases) you can jump higher and higher and higher lol. By 200 you can jump about 12' or so :p
That or City of Heroes/Villains (CoX) and get the Superjump ability at 14th level :p By 50, with a few SO enhansements (high level 'slots' you can fill to improve powers) and you can jump about 1/4 mile! |

It would be kind of dumb to make an FPS-like game and not have the ability to jump. I have hope for this game. I think it could turn out great. I've had my eye on it for a LONG time now, and I'm glad that it's getting close to release. I really can't wait to play the open beta when it rolls around. I order my groceries online. |

I seriously feel for anyone who plays either game just so they can jump high. May as well just get yourself a C64 emulator and play Thing on a Spring. |

But if they do allow jump, they should allow you to trip->fall->stun. Silly rabbit. |
