Water Margin! "free RO Clone in Beta"
Here is the site "http://www.108.com.my/en/" Register Page "http://www.108.com.my/english/main.php?lang=eng&sec=register" When Registering. After you finish and complete it..It will tell you it "Failed" to process. Don't worry, because if you fill everything in, then it has been created regardless of that error message. Just sign in on their main page to make sure it worked afterwards. I suggest Downloading the client from "Download.com" Because its alot quicker as well. http://www.download.com/Water-Margin-Online/3000-7541_4-10515443.html (download.com) No I have no played, But I can tell you it looks alot like RO. ![]() ![]() Hi! Its F2P forever, but the beta is getting whiped on the 18th. Might aswell wait to play.
Well, play a little and learn the mechanics. Saddly the movement/battle is stiffer here then it was on RO. [12:38am] <+steve> don't speak of tampons in a channel like this |

iv just tested out the closed beta, its good n all but theres a few bad points; *If you equip new clothing your character still looks the same except for headgear so you all look like your lvl 1. *some bugs on quests But hey its in closed beta so these should be fixed well the 1st two, if your planning on playing this game id try out closed beta just to know what the games about then you are ready for open beta/final release, but it takes ages to download cause closed beta only just started i would recommend using DAP if your gonna d/l it or you'll b there all week, liamwba |

Yo man, the way you say "Free RO clone" made me thought this is was a private server of RO.

I actually like this game guys.
Its alot like Ragnarok Online. But with a different cultural spin. Very entertaining. The only problems I see right now is the occasional lag. Which can get extremely annoying. And the fact that some of the quests are not fully translated, yet the mobs are. So you are told to go kill 10 Ji Jaes, and to complete it you must kill 10 Rabbits. Some thing like that. It is also difficult to learn new skills as a beginner, but I am sure that get easier as time goes on, because skills cost money to buy the skill book, then another 2k to learn =(. But if you liked Ragnarok, I would definately sign up and give this a shot. I would even say it is better than RO at a lot of points. ~DaNcE |

Hehe. I can see how that could be mistaken as that, sorry. But in all honesty it seems that the company did base their game around Ragnarok Online with the same graphic style/and Class system. EDIT: Ok, so I actually broke down and downloaded the thing(mainly because I enjoyed Ragnarok when it was in beta and I enjoyed the free trial as well). Anywhos It downloaded fairly quickly but the little bugger is going to take about an hour to patch -_-. Heading to classes now(college.....>.>). Will report once I get back on as well.. Bet you 10 bucks that the game will be off my hardrive with a week though... Hi! My name is paper. Nerf scissors, rock is fine. |

It does play a lot like RO. I liked RO, till my trial ended anyway. RO is fun, but not worth paying for in my opinion. In this game, however, your actually created with enough skill to sit down! Amazing! I haven't gotten to deep into it yet, but so far it's alright. |

Yes. I do agree that it is insanely similar to RO. As if it was created by the same people almost. But I am reluctant to level up my monk considering it will be deleted soon.

Mm yes. It is, however, lacking in a lot of aspects. The water looks like utter crap for one. Also, I don't beleive it has near as many features as RO... Also RO looks much smoother... But hey, this is free, right? (PS: I have a monk too |

The problem with RO was that the Koreans got all the awesome stuff, even merchandise. The rest just gets the game which isn't even updated as much as the Korean version. (euRO wasn't worth the money.) Now, I'm busy downloading this game, because I still enjoyed whatever I got to play from RO. (Altough this game really looks like a fanmade ripoff. But hey, there's 'living skills' I read on the forum, so I'm not complaining.) Actually, reading up on how much it is like RO, I feel like I have a little head start with the fighting part. Almost all the stats work the same, so a typical fighting build for a character should be easy. |

I thought first that it would be a nice game since I kinda miss RO Nice start but there it died. "Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys. |
