Well, with the addition of 1000 more beta testers SEED is rapidly growing. Hopefully with this next wave the technical issues will be almost dealt with, and more content will be flushing its way into the beta test. Anyone who still hasnt checked out seed should check it out at Seed: The Game Anyways, the point of this point was to ask: How are the beta testers liking it? Have things really changed as drastically as they report? What do you think seed is capable of in the future? Also... any new testers having login problems?

I have to admit I have been watching this one withinterest since it was first announced, simply because it looks different. Alas I haven't got a beta spot yet, but am keeping my fingers crossed.

I can't figure out how to move.... I figured out how. Some pretty damn extreme lag. --------------------------------------- |

There is an NDA so posting any information about the beta here would be in violation. |

No there isn't. Seed doesn't have an NDA. Taken from my email from RuneStone:

yeah umm.. everyone knows SEED is the one game with no NDA. Anyways, yeah, im in too. The game itself, is amazingly graphically. I love the art style, and the entire flow works well. There are currently two types of movement, click based and WASD style. Things are a little of a "try and experiment" method right now as the documentation isnt finished (with things likely to change why would you document it all yet?) The servers, while supposedly having been fixed a lot, do have extreme lag. The movement seems to have a few flaws as well. Overall, for a first title company, and just being closed beta, the game is doing amazingly. I have been in closed betas that were so bad you would rather throw the game away than try to help them fix it. Seed is very intriguing, and everything from the artwork to the non-combat MMO take, is just absolutely stunning. If anyone has any questions, wants screenshots of certain things, whatever, just ask. I'm willing to give any info anyone needs. P.S.

The lag has gotten a lot better with the few last patches imo (especially todays!). I am pretty sure that Seed will be a pretty good and stable game by their release, and I am sure that it will be a *great* product over the summer! |
