The dreams in which im dying are the best i've ever had |
I have a weird taste in music. i mostly like rap, but i like some classic rock (Pink Floyd, etc.) I like one modern rock band (system of a down), and i like Eminem, and other rappers.

I like rock but I really like Eminem so I guess both in a way. Alot of people think I like him cause he's white when actually he is probably the most controversial, disgusting rapper ever to... well... rap. And if you listen to your local rap station, there are very few rappers nowadays who still rhyme (you have to listen carefully but about 75% of the crap on rap stations doesnt even have rhymes in it.) But when it comes to rock, I have too long of a list of favorite bands... |

You like new System of a Down? Don't tell me you like that vanilla alternative heavy rock crap. Older 98-2001 System of a down is exponentially better than their newer albums. Just my sweet opinion. Best new[ish] rock band: Clutch. |

Yea Rap kinda sucks now. I hate it so i jut listen to old eminem. I havent heard the first System of a down cd btw so yea, i cant really say which is better, new or old, but i really like their toxicity album |

Razorback, your taste in music is clearly superior. I applaud your insight and proclaim that this thread doesn't need any more input :) I actually like Rollins spoken word stuff even more than his music, but he is a very interesting man.
I can't stand rap anymore. I miss the guys with huge clocks on big chains around their necks. I was never a rap fan, but I could at least listen to the old old stuff. Nowadays it just sounds like a bunch of people ranting and mumbling about the same cliched subjects....sort of like country music. I await the day that Sir Mixalot rides gloriously into the streets with a huge lance and butt-shaped shield, proclaiming the glory of the bdonka donk to we mere mortals. I prefer Rob Zombie, though, because I like old monster movies and hotrods, and because he's a funny guy. That or Disturbed, who I would like playing on a radio if I have to get into a fist fight. |
