DAOCer(Hib - Iseult) played from about 3 years pretty "hardcore" and than a year off and on. I'd probably go back and play if they still didn't want $15 a month for it...

If you can't do something well, enjoy doing it poorly. |

I am both. I loved DAOC, but I also loved games like EQ and SWG. Can't stand ez-mode follow-the-path theme park games like WoW, SWTOR, LOTRO, etc. Give me community. Give me challenge. Give me RvR (or really any sort of empire PvP). Give me an in-depth crafting and economic system. That's enough for me. |

I have never played DAOC, but I would like to see UC carry over all the good qualities the DAOC vets liked. There is a reason why everyone says DAOC had some of the best pvp ever, and I would like to see what all the fuss is about. Whether or not that same magic can be bottled and recreated is one thing. Whether or not people will recieve that magic the same today is another. Lets hope it all works out. |
