"In ESO, you choose one of three alliances, each with different zones, quests, and stories to explore. Once you hit level 50, you can choose to journey to another alliance's territory and experience a more difficult (and rewarding) version of those areas. After you complete the story within in the second alliance, you can travel to the third faction and complete the content there"

While you will be exploring the other faction zones, it sounds like you'll be in a special shard that is reserved for level 50 only, and contains totally different and upgraded content for them to enjoy. 

Doesn't appear you'll be rubbing elbows with the other lower level players of that faction, and only run into the level 50's for that zone and will be permitted to group with them in this special instance, and not fight anywhere but the PVP zone.

 

  This makes sense, no more 50's ruining low level content by slaughting everything in sight.

Zones and encounters are buffed to 50 and loot updated accordingly.

If you look critically amongst them there is some conflicting information. 4 hours, with different reviewers looking for and wanting different things makes that an inevitability. I will not be judging until I can get hands on.

Pretty hilarious considering the other thread where you brought forth a very similar idea and the fanboys blasted you for it.

 

I'm just glad the considered this as an option at all. Perhaps they really are going to listen to those people that feel like their vision has been far too restrictive at this point.

A concession to appease the , waaaaaahhhhhhh we can only see 1/3 of the content. I think it s good, either way.

Fantastic - looks like Zenimax have ears after all. There is a rumour of a delay to launch until March 2014 - perhaps t make the necessary changes?... but that doesn't matter either way.

The TES fans get to eventually explore everywhere with one toon at level 50 and the PvP fans get their unsullied 3-way goodness and they sit next to each other without a problem...

... I couldn't be more satisifed about the content of this interview.

What? If pve zones were locked? It didnt matter much to me since all i care about is the RVR focus of the game. Tho i am glad at the same time they are giving more people options to do stuff.

Any ability for the high levels to gank in the other areas and I am done with this game.  PvP should stay in PvP zones.

are we really down to 4 man dungeons now? i hated 5 man dungeons because they were boring and stale with group mechanics, but even then you at least got a secondary DPS or a support class as an option.

Yeah seems like there will not be any real PVE endgame.

If they do it in a way that creates (or rather, brings back...as in the CC/buffer specialist) a 4th role, this could be a good thing.

I don't really see much difference between the gameplay of 1 tank and 1 healer + 2 or 3 or 4 DPS.

Yeah seems like there will not be any real PVE endgame.

Its going to be questing in enemy territory (lol pve?) and dynamic raid events that may or may not be instanced.

 

I dunno...it just seems like you couldnt have tried any harder to stay within "the box" rather than attempt to think outside.  Seems to me to be one of the most cautiously built and low risk attempts at making a mmorpg.

In reality, were getting DAOC and WoW (which is what GW2 was basically only on super easy mode)...and thats been tried a couple hundred times already (at least it seems like that many).  Perhaps it will be complex in character building and content difficulty, which might make a stale template this games built on be interesting...i really hope...if its autostat and "choose tree one or tree two or half and half" for the skill...im not sure ill even be interested.

 

I just really wish some effort was made to do something different...and a bit of risk taking in creating new systems and mechanics.

I hope not because this also makes it harder for the community when it comes to finding healers. Now you need a higher population of healers to keep people teaming. Its a common mistake a lot of newer MMOs are making.

Fantastic - looks like Zenimax have ears after all. There is a rumour of a delay to launch until March 2014 - perhaps t make the necessary changes?... but that doesn't matter either way.

The TES fans get to eventually explore everywhere with one toon at level 50 and the PvP fans get their unsullied 3-way goodness and they sit next to each other without a problem...

... I couldn't be more satisifed about the content of this interview.

The "questing in the other alliance zones" is instanced. You only see other members from your own faction and everything is level 50+. No PvP outside of the PvP zone.

Yup, if they are doing a trinity-like system, they should have considered going up, not down in the amount of players in groups. 5 would be better than 4 and 6 would be better than 5.

 

Is this game full trinity by the way? Are we having dedicated tanks and healers?
