I dont find this game very attractive, but perhaps I should do some research first. What is the difference between this and WoW again? All I know from the video is that it isnt graphics. well i was intrested in this until i saw this video maybe ill check in a little more later, i was hopeing more for steam punk VS magic kinda, not space VS kinda aliens as for the grapics. . . .to be honest im not found of the cartoony style grapics anymore, and to those who say this dousnt look like WoW you got to be jokeing cause i thought this was a old WoW video at first, im not saying any cartoony looking MMO looks like WoW cause they dont but the grapic style the landscape style the building style adn the way the chars looks and move all scream WoW. if you dont agree then you should stop breath and watch a video of this and a WoW video not of the new expansion. F2P may be the way of the future, but ya know they dont make them like they used to |

They only put this video up because they were giving background information about the Zone Deradune. I hate the fact that they copied WoW too - seamless worlds are teh suck. The art style of Wildstar isn't WoW! It's Traditional Animation. People are only saying it looks like WoW because it looks like a graphic novel, comic or cartoon. Since when does WoW get the monopoly on this style?!? It doesn't.
If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game. |

That's probably the closest I've seen this game have to anything even remotely resembling trolls. WildStar does look like WoW, but honestly it's hard to have a polished, cartoony, toon-shader created game that doesn't resemble WoW. WoW literally took every staple from animation and art design and implemented it into their game. The art style reminds me more of a mix between Ratchet & Clank & Allods, though imho. Aside from it being cartoony, though, this game honestly seems to be much closer to a GW2 than a WoW. It definitely has more traditional MMO staples, but it's also got a lot of 'next gen' MMO mechanics in it as well. Not sure if this game will be my cup of tea, but I'd definitely say it's too early to write this one off. |

Sorry this game looks more like a WoW clone then any game ever to hit the market. It looks absolutely like it was designed for 12 year olds and the animations look horrendous and uninspiring. I'll defenitly be skipping this train wreck of a game because if they can't even get original on the gfx side whats to think they will get any thing else right.
If your idea of a Sandbox is open FFA Full Loot PvP, full crafted world with minimal support for anything combat then your sandbox ideas are bad! Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!
