He has a collectables "game" called Ultimate Collector.

More importantly though he has a MMO in the works or did tentatively called New Brittania..essentially a new Ultima Online.

Since he is using the tag Lord British and not simply Richard Garriot it more then likely has to do with gaming in some way. So cross finger I guess.. maybe Ultima Online will finally be "reborn" for real.

What I meant by the Snooki comparison was that he is an attention whore with not much substance. He does alot of grandiose and dramatic stuff, but in the end you are just like WTF?

I guess a better comparison would be the Baldwins. He started out as the Alec Baldwin of MMO's, but now more like Stephen Baldwin

Billy Mays is also dead. That puts him another step ahead of Garriott.

Anyway, it won't have anything to do with Ultima. EA owns all of the Ultima rights except one thing: Garriott owns the right to the name "Lord British". This is why there was the character Lord British in Lineage and General British in Tabula Rasa, EA couldn't say shit. But they can stomp him fast and hard over anything else Ultima related. And considering the Garriott/EA split was one of the most unfriendly in gaming history ( Garriott was barred from even making ANY games for  years as part of his departure from EA ), and the bitterness continues ( you really think EA didn't name their craptastic Steam wannabe "Origin" as a slap in Garriott's face? ), I don't forsee anything changing in this regard.

So many haters. This guy was a pioneer who changed the industries views of MMORPGs. He made the type of game everyone wants on here, a real virtual world MMORPG against all odds. 

Whether his next game is awesome or not, he has done amazing things for the genre.
