Its not tab targetting, you actually have to pay attention. yes itll have a cash shop.. but thats how games are coming along nowadays. Will it be P2W? probably not considering what was said in the different press beta events ive watched. but that is subject to change. as are most things about any game.

rofl all you want the facts are simple you are basing your opinion on what? a few hours of game play videos that the devs ran with various press people? I watched the game footage like most others and in my opinion its not WoW.. the dungeons are just that dungeons. the cities looked huge and were populated. not with camping players but NPC's now of course that could change as there are going to be alot of players sitting around showing off gear or just afk.

Combat was sweet, you had to have position, randge, get the heck outta the way, with nice aoe effects and the daily abilities looked kewl. I especially like the trickster rogues leap Stab ability.. so funny to see a dwarf jump 4 feet straight up to stab the enemy in the head.

the dungeon looked great.. no sci fi BS in them, they looked down right dungeony. the mini bosses put up a stiff fight but the last boss really gave the impression of barely controlled chaos. And the end game dungeons will be alot harder.. then at max level you can run the dungeons in a harder mode. Kinda like heroic. Then you have the puzzles, traps, secret rooms, chests, and end dungeon reward to take into consideration.. its not just a romp in dungeon and down the boss. theres other things to do in the dungeons.

without playing the game you are making a biased opinion. seems very silly to me. personally i dont care if you play or not, but dont feed misinformation as it has no basis in fact.

Dunno about dngeons being soloable i just know that for the most part youd have to be many levels above the level of the dungeon to solo it as the last fight in the first dungeon was chaotic with over 20 adds involved..

Gameplay looks like penny arcade Street Fighter from 1988 instead of D&D.

not necessarily. all the classes have a ranged attack in the case of the trickster he can throw knives, the guardians charge the target and the cleric well t was just bad ***. the Wizard will be a control freak, and the greatweapons warrior will probably have a leap attack or some such. so having a archer class isnt really a requirement at the beginning.

Do we all really have to do this dance every time a new game releases? People give negative opinions on a game, fanboys use the "it's not released to most people and you can't know from videos." Then beta is released and the fanboys say "it's just beta." Then launch "let them iron out the issues." 1 month "it's only been a month." Then "It's only been 6 months." Then "Hey 2k people are gold members the game must be good and therefore you're wrong."

Honestly guys just take the critism, it's only going to get worse from here.

I shall gladly take criticism on a VIDEO GAME when it is offerered. Simply stating "THIS IS THE WORST GAME EVER!!!!" is in no way criticism. I'm not saying you in particular, but I'm sure you've seen more than enough examples on these forums.

If you guys are getting your information from Alpha Testers or are Alpha Testers yourselves, I do remind you that there is such a thing as a Nondisclosure Agreement that you click I Agree to test the game. Clicking I Agree enters you into a legally binding contract with Cryptic and PWE. Talking about the game here without the express permission of them is a clear violation of an industry standard NDA.

So in summary, (1) provide actual criticism with evidence and (2) stop speculating or violating a legally binding contract. Thank you for hopefully becoming rational human beings (both "trolls" and "fanbois")

you have to keep in mind this is forgotten realms based so yes clerics can be casters then there are the plate wearing clerics.. it was all based on the diety you chose to follow. they all had restrictions and benefits.

not necessarily. all the classes have a secondary arcade ranged attack in the case of the trickster he can throw knives, the guardians charge the target and the cleric well t was just bad ***. the Wizard will be a control freak, and the greatweapons warrior will probably have a leap attack or some such. so having a archer class isnt really a requirement at the beginning.

20 years of PnP D&D under my belt, throwing knives probably at the bottom of the list of used attacks, right below throwing axe.  Simply bad design to have throwing knives as your ranged attack. 

That's not D&D, that's Street Fighter.

How many classes do you need?  STO has 3, oh wait you guys hate that game and by proxy this one because Cryptic also made it.  EVE has one class that can do anything and probably less content than STO. 

If it's because it's free to play with an OPTIONAL cash shop that will most likely have a way to earn Zen in game, ...

It has not release yet.  Prejudging at this point is just stupid.

20 years of PnP D&D under my belt, throwing knives probably at the bottom of the list of used attacks, right below throwing axe.  Simply bad design to have throwing knives as your ranged attack.

i am with you that throwing knives arent my thing but when you think about it rogues use throwing knives in Forgotten realms. it part of the mythos. so i suppose the devs are trying to stay true to the lore. take into case the two most well known rogues in forgotten realms:

Jarl'Axle and Artemis Entrari.. they both used dagers and both threw them.

dont know a company by craptic, however Cryptic has STO and Neverwinter now.. so theres two.. you may not be a trekkie but that doesnt make the game bad.
