sure not as I'm an idiot=D sorry for my English, it my 5th language. I don't hate GW2, I just find it not good enough to be great game. Example: GW1 used to be a great game(s)
try before buy, even if it's a game to avoid bad surprises. |

Originally posted by Fearum Did TA runs last night and didn't die once. I don't typically die in CoF runs either but haven't done any since the patch. It is possible to do the dungeons with out the zerg rez there isn't a need for the trinity. I have a decent guild but I often do these with all puggers. They eliminated the stupid res-run strat it's not the only way to run a dungeon. |

found what was problem with dodge: you need to cast it in 1 precise moment - just before take a hit, as caster I always fight on retreat so never really dodge, sorry to be noob etc. I think res and run dungeons are not FUN at all either if you run alone or wait for whole group to join you. I still don't think why it was great to make people wait for wipe then res, sorry again I guess I'm too noob for greatness of this game and fun of these dungeons. Or may be idea was to buy and use instant res from item shop? I saw like 12 people 1 hit at Grenth and still don't see why they even do it, sorry I can't get this fun and don't see great rewards. I wanted to make this game better for it can last longer. But seems it so great already, and most of people here enjoy pretty much constant nerfs from release, poor content and annoying dungeons. I guess I'll leave you all alone as I'm about to get few more games now, so I think jumping game GW2 will be safe from me. Just let you know, in 1 guild I joined we have like max 30/247 people per day on weekends, so mans may be 50 keep playing till now. My second guild was small, only like 40 guys, now like 5 still here... I believe it because this game is great and fun, no need to be improved and we all love it pretty much. try before buy, even if it's a game to avoid bad surprises. |

Originally posted by Fearum Asheron's Call didn't have trinity and dungeons where still not "res-run" (actually, when you died, you dropped some of your gear and got resurected at a "lifestone" outside the dungeon). Don't limit what's possible to the limits of your own imagination... ;) There's only one truth. And it's not yours. |

Originally posted by GoldenArrow 5 months, plus the beta period. People were complaining about how they could zerg bosses by waypointing back just by doing AC all the way back in beta. There may be several legit criticisms about GW2's dungeons, but this is unquestionably a good change. Zerg rushing a boss adds absolutely nothing to gameplay. It accomodates bad play, discourages learning the encounter's mechanics, detracts from the game's own player res system, and is itself an extremely boring gameplay mechanic. |

Originally posted by Lovely_Laly 1. Maybe I'm imagining things, but I'm pretty sure I was still getting the same incremental XP last night that I've always gotten. Dodging works fine. The rezzing was easy as well, though I tend to revive any allies or NPCs I come across anyways (free xp!). 2. I can't comment on this one, since I haven't been to Orr since the update. 3. This was my favorite part of the update, personally. I hated rez-zerging so much. 4. I don't even know what you're saying here.
This has personally been my favorite update so far. <3 |

Originally posted by GoldenArrow The same way they get accustomed to any other change. You'll see a certain few people bitch and moan on forums for a few weeks without really thinking it through, then the change will just be and everyone will be fine with it. I mean this change is hardly drastic. It's how virtually every other instanced dungeon MMO operates. |

Exactly, those used to bring in max dps spec and zerging will be in for some pain, but eventually they will realise why other are not dying and start using some defensive skills. Good changes all round so far IMO.

OP. I am sorry that you are having problems dodging. Even though I find it extremely easy, you might be having issues with it because of poor internet connection or some other personal issue. The dodge mechanic works well for me, and I probably dodge 20 times by the time I've fought 10 regular mobs. I hope that through practice or troubleshooting you can figure out how to utilize the mechanic.
That being said, everything that I've seen with this patch has been an improvement, and I personally felt they didn't make the dailies hard enough. All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick. |

Never played the game, but always take an opportunity to bash it because watching someone go into an all caps rhetorical metldown like a helicopter with its rear rotor shot off is more fun than the game could ever be. :D

I liked MMOs better when gamers didn't play them, and just geeks did. |

Originally posted by VikingGamer this is true for groups who have no clue whats going on.. it's called a learning curve(people were bypassing the learning curve by spawn point rushing)...unlike most other MMOs GW2 doesn't ease you into the dungeons... you can watch youtube videos of groups taking out every story/explorable mode dungeon in the game without a single wipe or spawn point rush. My main issue with dungeons is boss fights take to long.. but sounds like they are working on that as part of the dungeon revamp I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg |
