I don't know why people feel the need to poke fun at the fact SWG is shut down now. When SWTOR is the age of SWG, do you think it will still be around?

SWG could be considered a collector's item while SWTOR is a commodity. In car terms, it is like comparing a '68 Mustang to a 2013 Mustang.

Comparing SWTOR to SWG is like comparing a Ford Fiesta to a Lotus Espirit Turbo....

Isn't it a little unethical to sell a game you can't play? [mod edit]

My SWG memories are still better than SWTOR's actual game play IMHO. I really wish BW / EA would have gotten it right.

I actually kinda like swtor. Went back a few weeks ago, once again haven't logged on in a week. However it is not a bad game, it's kind of a fun game, linear as heck, but still kinda fun. Not really a good MMO, but a decent game. Good for a few weeks every once in a while. You know, in ancient Egypt. One of the hieroglyphics on the walls of the pyramids actually says 'I am upset as my heir will ruin my kingdom' or something to that affect. This is 5000BC stuff and you know what? Nothing has changed. :P |

Probably because SWG is a collectors item.
Current MMOs: Defiance, Guild Wars 2, TERA, SWTOR |

Not sure why this is surprising to you, one is a limited edition item that is no longer being produced, [mod edit]The other one has been made effectively worthless by a F2P transition.
