The doctors say his chances are 50/50...but there's only a 10% chance of that. |

So the number 13 isn't so unlucky after all!

It's uplifting that Trion has the rights for ArcheAge. Trion has done some fantastic work and I will always wonder what Rift would have been if WoW hadn't been released and they had a bit better flow of animation/skills.

Rift would be exactly what it is right now. An interesting class system in the usual themepark world dull on lore. Remember, WOW got a huge audience not because it was a MMO but because they had a lot of fans who already were familiar with the lore.
No one cares about Rift's lore...or even knows a lot about it. They play the game because it is a decent game, most htings work, and it's class system is a somewhat unique standout from the usual stuff. |

No it will be a 2013 release. Players will have to wait a bit longer to try it themselves, but maybe not as long as you'd expect. "Players will get their hands on an actual release version of what we're doing late [this] year - and I don't mean a beta," says Smedley. That for the most part says we are going to get the game out this year. Not 2014 |

Looking at the info, the game will never make it. NcSoft was supposedly to be the distro for NA/EU and seems XL Games is just doing a hot sell on the license,.. imho.
By summer I will garuantee we will see atleast 2 more distros for this game. |

Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |

So, TRION is the New NCSoft, but with less 'Asian Influence'?

They can easily achieve this goal. XLGames have been making the game global from the start and thus all the system are easily transformed into RU/EU/NA releases. I was expecting it could come early 2014 or later this year. |

Such good news. I love Trion. IMO Rift is the best themepark mmo out now. Archeage, Neverwinter, The Repopulation, and possibly The Black Desert, 2013 is shaping up to be awesome.

Yeah I don't want any lore changes like many companies tend to do, I want to understand what's going on clearly but I don't want the original lore and story to be altered. It takes too much time to do that, and I don't see any really good reason for it. Mechanically speaking there aren't many alterations that need to take place...I can see them easing up on ganking/griefing mechanics and things like that but it wouldn't really take a lot of time to do that, and probably providing more safe-zone areas for people to build houses.
