Just because it's not broken doesn't mean it can't be improved. |

The lame thing that PoE did was not make the 5$ and 10$ increments multiples of 10. Many of the good cash shop items cost 50 points. They knew this so what did they do, they gave you 46 points for your purchase. Those are the facts.

I dont have a problem with it really. It just remind's me of xbox live point's.Unless MS has changed it's $5 for 400 point's and there's a lotta stuff that's 360 or 480 point's.It has become regular business for companie's to do this. It's beneficial for the company to do this as it is ftp,you don't have to pay a nickel. The thing i can see happening is people always coming up short on point's.Well why not wait until you have $20 before you buy, solve's it all. |

The dude iis missing one point compared to other games...loot=money...there is no gold system, no curency...loot=money..period... so having inventory tabs, like stash tabs..or a way to send stuff to your stash..like a mobile banker..or a pet system like Torchlight does not ruin the essence of the game and is something I am willing to give my cash for... Yes, I want to give POE my cash...I want to support these guys but I have no need for cosmo pets and dance routines... I need to turn my useless shit into scrolls ot orbs..all of it...every peice of crap that drops is worth scrolls and orbs..which is currency.. Picking up a peice of armor, a sheild, and a two handed weapon and my inventory is kaputz..... Having me pay to solve this problem is a great way to get my money..you want me to buy extra stash tabs, so why not extra inventory tabs.... Or a pet system, or a mobile banker...or a advanced feature that lets me transfer to my stash on the go... Any of these is a win/win for POE....they get my money and make the game just a lil' bit better for some without volating Pay To Win ethics.... |

Together with League of Legends, this is the best cash shop I've seen. I also gave Path of Exile some money by buying a pack. But with both games, it is completely optional to play while using the cash shop. The game is totally free. In the end, if I play a lot, I buy some stuff from the cash shop, because I like the game, not because I need to progress. The prices may or may not be steep, but in the end they have a business. I say well done Grinding Gear Games for creating an absolute gem of a game.

the currency pricing seems ok to me, we would have to see how they price the items though. Sadly i wont be playing this game unless they add WASD movement, which they wont. Therefore, im out.
Enjoy the game everyone. |

What could be in the cash shop that would require $250? This isn't an mmo with a persistent world is it? I'll stick with Torchlight 2 where for $20 I get the entire game and can still play online and lan. I realize TL2 isn't as deep or complex, but it's still a damn fun arpg and it has its own style. Maybe I'm missing something but that just seems steep and I'm not seeing the value here for an indie clone game. |

Originally posted by Torvaldr It's only fluff in the cash shop. The only thing not cosmetic is extra character slots and bank space.. BUT you get loads of bank space and character slots for nothing anyway. More space and character slots than TL2 anyway. You get the full game for nothing, it's cheaper than TL2... it really is free. No experience boosters, nothing like that.. No strings. |

Originally posted by jpnole The higher packs do, though - i.e. the $100 supporter pack gave people 1000 points, as opposed to $100 giving 1065 points now. True, the supporter packs contained additional stuff, but I think if they started giving out much better deals now then a lot of the early supporters would start complaining. |
