I have to agree with OP. Im playing on Red Eclipse and when it says "heavy" or "very heavy" there really doesnt seem to be that many people around, typically 120 (in all instances) on Corellia where im at right now and there is a substancial wait for flashpoints groups.

120 People in Corellia is pretty damn good, dude. With all the planets and the leveling curve of your server, it's hard to tell if it's heavy or not. Not everyone on your server is 50 or very close to 50. Most likely 50% of your server is leveling on lowbie planents like Coruscant or Dromund Kaas. When a game goes F2P, the casual levelers come roaring back in.

Might be on an oceanic server. They are pretty much dead.

Originally posted by Thebigthrill Watch closely folks, im going to do something CRAZY here...say good AND bad. I know I know...nuts huh? 1. Caps are not low and will be explained below. 2. Yes, EA is manipulating the servers just not in the way you think. The entire idea of their going to mega servers is to make it "look" like its doing better by taking players from MANY servers and placing them on a FEW....thus making it look like the game is being played by a lot of people. 3. You cannot compare SWTOR to WoW. WoW was made in a way to give players actual REASONS to go to cities, hang out, talk...SWTOR does not, that is why so many people do not want to call it an MMO but instead a Single player game with online capabilities, it isnt a true MMORPG and goes out of its way to make sure players dont just hang out and interact. 4. Just because there are 2 people on Tatooine, doesnt mean there arent 100 on a starter world and 250 on one of the upper level planets...300 in the fleet. BTW the most I ever saw on Tat was mid 20s and that was a month after release long before the mass exodus took place. “I hope we shall crush...in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country." ~Thomes Jefferson |

Originally posted by IG-88 have to call you out on that one, i play on progenitor because there is usually a queue to get in on the red eclipse, plus, when fleet is crowded, which on red it usually is, the lag is so bad you can barely move, which is also why i chose to abandon red eclipse, although granted that was several weeks ago, you don't queue to get onto an empty server. |

op is pissed because the only game he can play is wow, and swtor is too difficult.

Originally posted by ktanner3 It is not crock, it can be true, depending what instance they logged into. I logged in to the Red Eclipse a EU server after F2P on Coruscant and there was only 40 people, and thought "This can not be! F2P dead after a few hours?", but then after a few mins remembered the instances. On the other instance there was over 200. People new to the game will not know this, as it is not obvious. Why not explain the situation instead of being condascending?

Originally posted by IG-88 So I suppose this means you think that every zone in World of Warcraft is filled with 120+ people at any given time right? If so, you would be wrong. As with any game, there are some places that are heavily populated and others that aren't. Go figure. |

Originally posted by baphamet He could be lying, but Red Eclipse did have a multi-hour rollback yesterday. Trolling is a term that has a definition which you don't seem to have a grasp on. The term trolling is not meant to be a gernade you toss into every thread you don't like something that is being said. |

Originally posted by tiefighter25 120 per side in one zone is quite good, to me. This isn't a "hang out" area like fleet, Main City, etc. It's a leveling/daily area. And while he may not be your version of trolling, he seems to be pretty close to it.
Oh, and the fleet I as on early today had 10 people in it. It was the fourth fleet instance. It was super empty! ;( |

i know what trolling is thank you very much, lying to get people fired up and to respond to you is the very essence of what trolling is. i don't accuse people of trolling in every thread either, not sure where the hell you got that from. when people have legitimate concerns or things they don't like, okay. when people start lying (like in this thread) just for something new to bash the game for, i call them out for it. if you don't like that, sorry but i don t give a shit lol |

I think you owe him an apology. NGE killed SWG. Get over it like the rest of us did in 2005. |

rollback is not a bug,,its a feature now we can have TWICE the fun with the same content sadly it happens in all mmos,,remember how STO was at launch? the big difference: STO was apologizing, AND gave the players more info BW just goes "our game is great, and people want to play it"
