Not playing much of anything MMO right now. Revisiting the Mass Effect games, and mixing it up with some Hitman stuff, but that's it. The industry barely has a pulse right now, mostly due to game designers letting themselves be limited to aging consols rather than actually develop for PC's. As a result, all but the biggest studios and publishers are making stuff. Except it's usually just the same hashed out yearly-releases like CoD and Madden. |

Firefall (Beta) as of late, I'm also hoping that the devs at Red5 manage to succeed. I'm especially hopeful for the next milestone which should bring the Chosen Warfront to life and should be rather interesting to see come to life. In addition to that Im looking forward to the Defiance Beta weekend.

Some folks are like Slinkies, totally useless but great fun to watch when you push them down stairs |

Currently playing Wii-U. I hope The Repopulation is everything it says it will be. If so, I have found my "one".

Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |

Plenty of exciting and fun games out there for those that don't lock themselves into a ghetto.

Currently (very casually): FFXI, TERA, WURM, GW2, Alpha/Beta's under NDA Hoping for: ArchAge, FFXIV, TESO
Not really expecting much anymore with year after year of dissapointment by sub standard themepark and quest grind MMO's. I was hoping for the survival genre but that seems to just create even worse games. I got a backlog of single player games to keep me occupied for some time :) |

Originally posted by jpnz I didn't mean to suggest that peopel wouldn't want otehr games to succeed. I worded it that way, because a game succeeding implies that the developers delivered on what they said and will have enough of a community to have a good play experience. Saying that way is meant to say that you like the features you've seen and want it to deliver - not just come out. Someone please make a good MMO. |

Rift. Started it back up a few weeks ago along with the expansion. The game is huge now and jam-packed with things to do. It is probably one of the most diverse games for unique character development out there. Unique one of a kind character development has always been a huge plus for me. I'm not sure what you are asking in the second part of your title OP, but I'm hoping to get my $14.99 a month out of it and I think I more than do. Compared to other sub games, this one offers the most diversity and long lasting appeal to me. They are constantly making it better, and I have yet to see any huge hit to the mechanics dumbing it down like some of the other titles have done. Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not. |

Playing no MMOs, haven't for well over a year now. Have been playing SP games, recently finished up Far Cry 3, but have had very little free time to actually play another game. Not sure where to go once I get more free time. I'm not looking forward to anything because the chances of there being a good game, populated by worthwhile people, is somewhere between slim and zero, closer to zero. Played: UO, EQ, WoW, DDO, SWG, AO, CoH, EvE, TR, AoC, GW, GA, Aion, Allods, lots more |

Playing: League of Legends (unfortunately.....), Planetside 2. Occassionally I mess around in Skyrim, Fallout, and Path of Exile Stopped Playing GW2.. the last 'real' MMO I was playing.
Hopeful: The Repopulation... the only MMO that remotely interests me in the genre, unless the remake of Earthrise nails it (I'm not hopefull it will remotely succeed) |

playing: GW2 (because this in my opinion is the least bad MMO out right now) Hoping for: Any future fantasy sandbox game with PVE and PVP options to be great. |

I stopped playing MMO's. I'm recoloring dragons and mirrors in Sims 2. I miss playing with others but MMO's lack creativity and are all about PvP these days. I will probably try ArcheAge.
