Ho there!

After hearing about the upcoming f2p conversion, I decided to finally take a look at TERA. Was glad to find an unlimited trial deal also on the Europe side. So far I'm enjoying the game surprisingly much, probably due to my recent hiatus from mmos. :) Going to post a couple shots of my characters in the gallery here, the graphics are easily the best I've seen on the market.

Now the only real problem with the trial is that you can only chat in /party. Can understand why the limitation is there but it's also killing the social side for me. Sooo I was wondering if any EU players reading this might want to group up and give TERA a go together! I'm on the English PvE server with two 10ish characters right now, just starting up.

Yeah, that's the basic mmo mold for ya. Devs create an infinite grind loop at the end of a game and people rinse and repeat a small amount of tedious content for hard to obtain items.

Not that easy trying to lure friends to try out TERA but the show must go on! :D

I dont care for the grind, i join for the fun of PvP ofcourse! XD

I'm sownloading the EU client to see how people live on the other side of the pond.

Having a bit of problem creating a free trial.  Created the account, almost done loading the client but only getting the purchase options.  It is my understanding their "free trial" with associated rescritctions should be useable somehow.  But we shall see.  Who knows, EU ping might even better than the one I get in NA.

Sweet!  I wonder how I didnt find that sooner.

Pity my ping is 180 or so, significantly higher than NA.  Are all the EU servers in the same geographic location regardless of language (I will assume yes and I will assume they're somewhere in Germany.)

I agree the game is the best around for graphics. Have you gone into the main City yet? Every time it makes me just go 'Wow!'.

Yeah, shame they had to chop it into pieces with the obvious "performance corridors" though. :P

I'm still downloading the game, at 91% right now.
