yeah, it has a full dev team now lol...they've started doing a lot of work on Vanguard. 

No thanks, they went F2P when I was subbed with them though I made debates against it while others claimed it would make the game unstoppable and that was the boost it needed.

Well, it got it so let's see it pay off.

No one is expecting this to have millions upon millions of players. However it is "not on life support".

Every time I try it its still a little to buggy for me. And the water always looks like garbage! Original EverQuest had better looking water...

Sorry, but it just ruins the scenery for me when I can see right through the slightly cloudy mostly see through stuff thats supposed to be water. It does have a slight shimmer at the right angle though.

has much as i love vanguard i think your right..once eqnext is out i believe this game will lose its remaining fan base.the shame is that never again will we see a game of this magnitude.all those races,classes ,starter areas.man the game is just amazing.such a shame they cocked up the release otherwise this game would have been a massive success.

What they need to do is move Brad Mcquaid onto the EQ Next dev team and shut Vanguard down. Brad Mcquaid is the one who launched Vanguard in an unplayable state. He doesn't work for SoE anymore btw. The game was actually developed by his own company Sigil. SoE originally just joint published it with them. Then they bought it out after it tanked. I believe Brad was kept on as some kind of consultant originally.

If I were Brad I would find a hole to crawl into....the shame.
