I don't know guys, but to me people like you sure does come across as offended enough to come and post that GW2 isn't the #1 MMO. I mean, you really care that much to be bothered? I won't disagree with what you said except for point #1.  GW2 is in no way a FPS.  Its combat is traditional tab targeting.  No twitch or aiming involved.

And the #1 MMO is the one you are playing and enjoying right now.  For me, its certainly not GW2 but for others it is.  Different strokes and all that.

Lets be honest its not the number 1 mmo, Just the number 1 ranked on mmorpg.com The number 1 mmo has been , is and will always be wow since 2004, 

Nothing has changed there. There aren't 10 million players in gw2, Wow is still king of the mmo just not the top ranked mmo on this site. 

Take it for what u will but in terms of sheer player numbers gw2 isn't and has never been number 1

News flash, Pirate 101 is the number 1 mmorpg.

There really is several reasons.

One is that the game actually is well made. Another is that it still is relatively new. That it is casual friendly doesnt hurt either.

But the most important reason is probably the general quality of MMOs that have been released the last 5 years.

GW2 is far from perfect and there indeed stil are far too few things to do at levelcap but it is still a good game, and frankly does it usually takes MMOs 6-12 months to get any real endgame anyways. Now, GW2 probably never will have what most of generation Wow considers and endgame, but I am pretty sure it will add a lot more to do with the first expansion which should come somewhere this year.

There are sadly few alternatives right now as number 1 MMOs... That doesnt mean everyone must love GW2, not at all but it is well made and in this genre that is still impressing enough at the moment.

Hopefully will the competition do better in the future though and we get a few more well made games in the next few years. Games like WoDO and Class 4 seems interesting to me.

Right now the only other well made game I can think of made the last few years is Rift and GW2 is better (then again havnt I tried Pirates 101, it have some impressing player ratings).

It's not my ideal  MMO, but it's the best thing to have released since 2004 for me (yes i loved WoW at launch).

After many years of waiting finally an MMO managed to grab me by my throat once again. :)

I still don't understand. Why people try games that they will not enjoy? I mean it's very known that there are not so many skills in gw2, raids are nonexistant there and it's more of a "journey is a goal" type of a game.

I think you can be forgiven for setting your expectations for a game on its predecessor; and GW1 was one of the best games around for the things he enjoyed.  GW2 one of the worst.

No, but actually someone could recruit 20 people from Pirate 101 to rate it 10/10 so it could actually have a rating and would show as the top rated released MMORPG instead of GW2 aswell.

Pirate 101 as the MMORPG of the year 2012 is a good visit card for this (part of) community. :)
