MMORPG = more pigs = more bacon?

Thus MMORPG is clearly pronounced "bacon".

I'll never get to the stage of being pronounced.

Everyone accepted that they just call it MMOs for short.

Think of JPEG, GIF (pronounced as 'JIF').

For other acronyms I think it's because there are no agreements. 

I usually go with 'More Peg'.  MMORPG always looked like that to me.

I just pronounce it 'morphine'.

I refuse to shorten it beyond saying each letter individually.

There is a difference between a three letter acronym and a six letter acronym.

I think the Zero Punctuation guy has it with "muh more puh guh".

+1 to the one who gets it. Both acronyms and initialisms are types of abbreviations.

Acronyms can be pronounced as words, like NASA.

Initialisms cannot, like FBI or CIA
