Now that The Secret World has changed it's payment model it might also be worth checking out if you enjoy the horror/thriller style of game such as Resident Evil/Silent Hill. The story is top notch and while it currently lacks real longevity it's still worth the "full" play through much more than many other games in the genre. Combat animations aren't the best though and while they do offer various clothing/weapon options I've found that most of the facial models are fairly similar so don't expect to be too unique in that area. EDIT: This game does lose a LOT of it's luster though if you decide to "cheat" your way through the various quests that encourage you seek out real world answers to in-game quests". If you are the type of person who can't resist the urge to look up answers after only spending a few minutes trying to figure something out this game really isn't meant for you. EDIT 2: Somehow forget you mentioned trying out TSW. It does have it's slow moments but anyone who has been looking for a story which really draws one in lately will agree this game delivers, despite it's other shortfalls. The same can be said for Rift in regards to its latest xpac and how it is easily the best option aside from WoW if you enjoy that genre but are tired of WoW after so many years. EDIT 3: Have you tried Skyrim on the PC with it's MANY mods? If an MMO isn't doing it for you but you are a fan of RPG's it's a damn good game. |

Originally posted by joeri123 IMO indie games are light-hearted fun more often than games from big, "serious" developers who only make grimdark stuff for "adults". So, maybe Legend of Grimrock? King's Bounty: Crossworlds? Uh, I think I'm running out of ideas. Mirror's Edge is a great game, too. |

Maybe something like Vindictus would be interesting if gameplay is getting dull.
For storyline, AOC's Tortage comes to mind.
I don't know the SP or multiplayer coop games that well. Maybe Skyrim or Diablo? |

SWTOR isn't bad if the style suits you. It's off my list because it runs poorly on my system. It's questy, with storyline very significant in questing. For me, I'm no fan of storyline gameplay in MMOs, so I was getting bored even a few minutes in. Others have loved it.

Non-MMO, I would suggest Torchlight 2 or Far Cry 3 for you (although I havnt seen you post about interests in fps's). Also, steams crazy (sometimes 5$) holiday sale might give you some good ideas: http://store.steampowered.com/
For MMO, GW2 wouldnt be a bad go (despite both the extreme negative and positive hype on this site, people have been known to have fun :) ). Leader of Knights Templar |

Recently started playing Fallen Earth - Truth be told it's really not bad. Free on Steam helps, too.
