Its not like Batman, cause Batmans costume is cool. This is more like a 3rd rate villain costume, the kind worn by the "evil" guy thats getting defeated 2 pages into a comic as a way of introducing the main hero before the story starts. I mean what kind of mental illness would make someone actually dress like that? Its a leather dress with weird spikes, limited vision and some weird ... thing ... attached to the forehead. The chicken helmet atleast might pass as humor or a lost bet. But the sorc ... thats just batman meets goth emo chick no matter how you look at it. Not even pants could save that one. |

they should hire artists who work on SW Clone Wars on Cartoon Network. They do way much better job.

Originally posted by immodium Yeah sure, why not go and put noise limiter into your ears and sew shut your mouth while your busy limiting your senses for no reason at all. And if your a good forceuser you won't need some of your limbs either, so lets chop them off. Also i see your carefully skipped around the weird plate attached to his forehead, thats a sign of a good forceuser aswell? I mean i get it, they are evil. So are Sith Warriors yet they manage to wear pants and actually look decent. Can you imagine a single of the villains in the SW movies in that ... dress? Darth Vader? Palpatine? Count Doku? Darth Maul? Take the lightsaber away and noone would even guess that has anything to do with Star Wars. |

Originally posted by Rocketeer You probably could slice all limbs off and still be awesome with the force. All I was saying is limited vision isn't a problem to a good force user, according to lore. Look at the Miraluka. Born with no eyes and in no way limited in being a force user. IMO they fit the Star Wars universe.![]() |

Originally posted by immodium The miraluka are an alien species that literally have no eyes, just because they are fine with it doesn't mean other species are. Also for many that do have a good force sight it still requires quite a bit of concentration and isn't something they would voluntarily rely on in combat, especially against other force users. But that wasn't my main point anyway, fine for all i care vision doesn't matter to force users, but that doesn't make the rest of it any less ridiculous. |

Those armors are horrible. I like SWTOR but most of the high tier armors look like shite to me. I'm happy with the basic looks...jedi robes..mabe a simple armor with robe. Simple sleek looks basically...non of these million spiked shoulders and headpieces with huge attachments that point up. Or hunter helmets with large fins down the center. MAybe they should ask us what some of our favorite armors are and design from there...leaving off stupid looking spikes, frills, attachments that are there just for the sake of being there.

High end armor in SWTOR is the worst I've seen in any MMO. I didn't have any motivation to work for it because it is butt ugly. It's a shame to see that they are still following that tradition. The most hilarious is the jedi with a big fan on his head and shoulder pads that look like wings from a fighter jet lol. They should at least let you glide off cliffs with those shoulder pads ;)

Overall, these do not excite me because of the helmets. I suppose hiding them is an option, or color-matching a helmet from another set if possible. The boots on the third from left aren't too bad. I'd like them more if they got rid of the swoops coming up over the knees. But in my opinion, armor and gear appearances was not the strength of the development team for SWTOR. |

You won't get cool looking armor in a game unless it's a proprietary IP. Currently Playing: LOTRO - SWTOR - PS2 - BF3 Waiting For: Camelot Unchained cause Mark Jacobs is a friggin genius. |

The plain robes, every day outfits and military uniforms of Star Wars doesn't really lend itself well to the increasingly outrageous armor designs dictated by the WoW style tier system.
