This may be more helpful for us to learn instead of doomsday dates. http://animals.howstuffworks.com/pets/how-to-save-a-choking-cat.htm "Step 2e: If you cannot remove the object (other than a needle), pick up the cat by grasping its back legs; turn it upside down and shake vigorously. Slapping the back while shaking may help to dislodge the object." Remember, vigorously shake, don't stir. |

In a way I am disappointed that it did not end. It would have been fun to watch. At 67 years old it would not have mattered to me much :)
