I always have one sub game and one free game that I go back to--(server down/ game breaking glitches/ etc., etc.)  =]

Current sub game: TSW

Current free game: LoL with full skins for 6 toons. :)

I'm the exact opposite. I refuse to play F2P games. I just cancelled my TSW account which I had just recently reactivated due to it jumping on the F2P nonsense bandwagon.

That statement would only be accurate if the sub games were higher quality.  As history as shown, they aren't.

I've spent money on F2P games, and I have no problem doing it. Why? Becuase when I find a game I like, I feel compelled to support those who have gained my interest.

But, I get to show that support on my terms, not theirs. I pay what I want, when I want. If they try to prevent my progress for not paying, guess what? I don't pay. I go away.

Just 2 things wrong with your statement.

1.  I've allready paid for a month, true it isn't a lot by any means, but when comparing to other games of the same quality I have paid for a month, which is a waste if i didn't use it.

2.  There are no more p2p games that don't have some kind of cash shop.  So a p2p only doesn't exist.

No, not really.

When I pay for something in a F2P or B2P game I always have access to what I've spent money on.  In a P2P game if I stop paying them then all that I've spent so far is locked and inaccessible.

In a sub free game I can pay when I want, how much I want, for what I want.  In a subscription game I must pay up front and a minimum fee ever recurring billing period.  I must also spend extra, in addition to my required minimum fee, on xpacs or I will be gated and excluded from the rest of the game.  So in addition to $120+ per year in sub fees I must also spend $40 - $60 on an xpac.  I don't get that for my sub fee.

I also don't get everything in the game with my subscription.  In addition to the xpacs I mentioned there are also additional micro-transactions in the form of mounts, skins, charcter / guild renames, and other fees.  My sub doesn't cover any of that.

The only game I've ever played where I got it all for the sub was Lineage.  That's no longer available in the West and that model has long since died.  They all sell extra for more.  Even EVE sells plex to supplement their revenue.

I have yet to play a F2P or B2P game that cost me more annually than any of my old subscription games.

Why? So you can pay 15$ a month to get less content then some  free to play games offer these days? (With the exception of Rift of coarse, that game is the only one that currently warrants a sub) 

I would rather pay 15$ a month on stuff I actually want then pay 15$ a month and get nothing out of it.

Why would i wish it had a sub? If it is fun enough to stick around, i would for free. And god forshake, i may change my mind and give them some money.

The beauty of F2P is that a) its free, and b) if you want, you can decide to give them a little money .. completely optional.

And if it is not fun enough this way, i won't want to stick around.

So again, why would i wish it had a sub?

And this is all hypothetical anyway .... the key is the actual game.

Now the three games i am playing/plan to play ...

1) PS2 .. F2P .. so far i am enjoying it without paying a cent. Sue me!

2) TSW .. just learn it went F2P .. good news .. will try once i get off work and get home.

3) Marvel Heroes .. already announced to be F2P.

If F2P is free how come I need to pay money in Vindictus if I want outfits, high-end weaponry, pets, trinkets, healing potions?

If F2P is free how come I need to pay money in Everquest to access half of the abilities, mercenaries, spells, all raid gear?

The only real "free" F2P game I played was street gears, which isn't even around anymore.
