its second behind WoW in the MMORPG category.

WoW, GW2, SWTOR, AION, EVE, LOTRO

in that order.

it seems to be doing well overall.

So the op can't log into xfire and check? They've been closing xfire threads so I'm not sure what the purpose of the op is.

If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.

Suddenly its not allowed to talk about xfire anymore since people noticed WoW is tanking as fast as those "dying" games" where parroted to do, by countless of its fanboys in other games forums for years. After half a decade full of near endless bashing, deliberate ignorance and blackpainting, consistently citing xfire and tearing over any other game in its name, some people started to expose WoWs own "trend" and suddenly its banned.

Not like the past greatest xfire speculation apologist have much use for xfire anymore left. And wouldnt it be unpleasant if people where allowed to make claims like  "WoW lost half its playerbase since MOPs launch according to xfire" or better "WoW lost two third of its playerbase since MOP if you look at the WoW graph on xfire and fail to read it!" just as we heard thousand of times about other games....?

Must be coincidence.
