I believe in life before death... So dont forget to enjoy it while you still can. |
Would oldfashioned quests on top of everything we allready have in the game add another layer of depth?
Iam not talkingsimple quests, but quests with depth and story, some nice questchains.

They need to do Vanilla EQ questing.

GW2 has quests you just dont have to click on any NPC other than to collect your reward from hart quests.

I voted NO. But I guess they could have a storyline per zone, similar to SWTOR planet quest lines. I personally feel questing in GW2 is fine for the most part. The story quests with voice overs could have been a lot better, but they were adequate. |

Its better to be quiet and perceived as stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. |

Not really. Also, there are events in the game that you initiate by talking to specific NPCs, they just don't have question marks over their heads. They beckon you over instead or give other cues.

GW2 doesn't really have any quests in the first place. Just the occassional event that you help zerg... Aside from that, it could use a lot more storyline quests, rather than one ever 3 or 4 levels. Better writing and voice acting probably couldn't hurth either. Basically, anything to give me the impression that the world isn't just full of random disposeable people who need me to pet bunnies and kill worms and stuff, for no reason. |

not even a little bit. I think it's a horrible idea.
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick. |

Why is it that fantasy trolls are vulnerable to fire, but internet trolls thrive on flame wars? |

Adding quests like those goes agaisnt what GW2 is about. Instead of encouraging everyone to fight their own battles, the game encourages you to join in another person's fight. Instead of encouraging camping for crafting resources, it encourages you to find them and even mine ones others are mining. Instead of encouraging you to seek out quests, it encourages you to explore and let the quests seek you out. Besides, people will complain that it is becoming a WoW clone if questionmark quests are introduced. Since when is Tuesday a direction? |
