Apparently there's a suggestion in the fansite kit that the rrp will be 29.99 $/euro.  Not sure if this'll stick at launch, will have to wait and see.

However should be free if you already bought df.

The first game was in fact staggered and it took some people weeks before they could buy the client. Also, they used pre-orders to better gauge the demand, do you see any pre-orders yet? Given the client is free for people that purchased  Darkfall, the demand would be much higher. I think the first week of DF was regulated to 7000-16000 for the one sever they had at the time. (EURO) 150000+ have since purchased DF wiih UW launching with only NA/EURO servers.

Thats only if YOU ALREADY OWN THE GAME nowhere in there does it say or even suggest that you will be able to purchase the new version.  You guys just don't understand how AV operates.  The launch of the original suffered horrendously from TOO MANY PEOPLE all trying to play.  So this time around they have learned from their mistakes and will be starting small and expanding when the server's are stable enough to do so.  Keep clamoring for more advertiements videos, trials, or game sales all you want but if you don't own the original you won't be able to own the new one UNTIL AFTER the official release on November 20.

Actually, they did do that with Darkfall . DF1 was a staggered release

I just went on gamestops website, they are selling digital copies of the original darkfall for $29.99.  Think buying one would be a loop hole into getting the first one and thus the new one for free?

Not that I'd want to cheat AV out of any money but I'd really like to play on launch day and this staggered release that everyone is thinking will happen is very disappointing

We KNOW DF:UW will be available on the 20th November. We don't know if that means prelaunch downloading, launch itself, if the game is purchasable then.
