That the game world doesn't have as many instances as I feared, that the dynamic events mostly work, but are oftentimes more antisocial than just solo quest grinding in instances(so little talking and interaction its easy to mistake players for bots) 

and finally, that the RvR, while a step in the right direction is missing several key pieces that would make it even slightly close to DAoC RvR's level of greatness. 

"The boredom your feeling a playing the game now won't change when its released." 

In the end you can't regret what you do or 'what if' things since you learn, whether its finding something that would of enhanced your time with a game or (for me) if a game isn't worth your hard earned money to pay for. No sense looking back at the past of 'what if' and just focus on what you have now.

The implication is still there. Whether it was intentional or not.

People who get asked, or ask themselves this question are almost always doing so in an effort to look back at mistakes they've made, or things they could've done better. Almost noone looks back to give themselves a high-5 for making a good decision, but that's probably what I would do if I was in that situation.

This thread reinforces the idea of correcting a mistake you made during GW2's pre-launch. As such, you couldn't have expected that this would be a primarily positive thread, as is probably evident by now that we're 6 pages in.
