I'm trying to play at least couple hours a day every single day. Getting killed alot, but 80% of all kills are "honest" - I'm just being to careless. I'm not trying to hide. 20% are shitty kills by faggots who's spawn camping. Or by guys who just want to play shooter and shoot everyone on sight. 

I like bandits who's killing me 80% of the time - they're adding athmosphere for me to the game - it's not just about zombies anymore, but also about fucking hostile humans. And this is okay I guess. 

Mindless kills and spawn camping is another story. Those slimes are just doing it for sake of ruining game for everyone, including themselves. 

BTW if you have noticed, spawn camping rate went down a little since last patch. And in coming week we're moving to new spawn system, that will make it even harder to spawn camp. 

We also preparing to open large portion of the map, which by itself will solve big chunk of PKing problem.

I hate to say "it's Alpha", but really it is . Ie - you won't even have access to full map, and more important without data we're getting right now, we won't be able to fine tune and balance game. 

So bottom line - Alpha times are rough times, we just need get over it.

Lead by example is an expression that comes to mind...   when the lead developer is throwing derogatory comments and slurs at his player base I don't think it is reasonable to hold your player base to a higher standard. 

It is strange to see them ban you for that, especially without any prior warning or anything.  It did seem less like you were trying to report the issue and more like you were saying "Fix this crap already," so maybe that's the issue.

Secondly,

He labeled that post what it was fairly clearly, a rant.  And he delivered.  I personally found it humorous that he suffers the same problems when he plays.  It shows that he's testing the systems under normal conditions and learning first hand what is frustrating or not working.

My panties remain unbunched.  Its a fun game, as long as he delivers a solid product that rewards my time/money invested I'll play.

Those offended by him calling campers faggots feel free to stop playing and go back to calling each other fanbois and carebears and all that noise.  Or just complain and keep giving them your monies.

You ever see the Louis C.K skit. Where he talks about him and his friends calling eachother "faggots"..not as a homosexual slur.....but "faggots" as in being a jerk or dickhead.

The WarZ dev was calling spawncamping PKers "faggots' in the "being a dickhead"sense.....and I agree. He should have used a different word because so many tender skins run about the world today. There is definitely context that can be determined in the tone of a word that differentiates one meaning of the word from another..not to mention the context in which it was used. "Faggot" is one of these words imo."Retard" as well. Its not right to call soemone with downs syndrome a retard....but it really should not offend to call a friend a retard when he/she is being silly or an idiot. It's a different situation and context.  The "N" word is not one of these things...for it has always had an oppressive and negative connotation. I believe it was the tone and how he was talking about players, the word choice just added fuel to the fire. 

It's like the Diablo 3 devs and the F' that loser comment. It wasn't really the word choice, it was the tone and sentiment behind it. The word choice and such simply added fuel to the fire. 

These people are supposed to be professionals and they are not acting as such. Though I understand why you would assume it's simply an issue of poor word choice if you feel it's ok for a developer to discuss his player base in such a manner publicly.

This is just one side of the story and by far is really incomplete. From given here one would think that that is all that happened. However, since the post was not copied/quoted completely here, we do not know what was really said nor the possible tone that that thread may have imparted.

I have found that when posting "bugs" in a bug forum for a alpha/beta or even a game in production that the best approach is to "just state the facts". Don't go into how mad it makes you or why you won't purchase the game or why the devs aren't listening. Those types of editorial statements just do nothing to correct the issue. Bug reporting is for bug reporting...not ranting.
