Due to massive oversupply of most crafted items there is very little point. however cooking for mad XP is worth it. |

I tried shopping for my items. Got disappointed in the lack of items being sold. So I just made a leatherworker and 3 leather wearing chars. I craft for all 3 of them and keep them in equal levels and I have never had a problem with getting items with the right stats anymore. Edit : There is no massive oversupply of crafted items. Heck I tried getting a level 50 dagger, they only had 4 kinds of greens. Hearty, Ravaging, the healing one, and the vit power one. >.< ''/\/\'' Posted using Iphone bunni |

My main kept two professions relevant to his level, did he have to grind for mats - yes, did he do it to make money - no, did it because I like crafting. Being able to have all the stats I wanted on a complete set all the time is all that mattered to me, couldn't do that via rewards or drops. He's max in jewelery and tailoring, he is wearing mostly crafted rares with a couple of crafted exotics, two sets of gear, one for conditions the other for magic find. Ectos aren't that hard to get, any rare from lvl 70 up and the max salvage kit will yield 1-3 ectos on a fairly regular basis, RNG is skewed towards them in my experience. My second character is crafting above her level in artificer and cookery. Works for me, I don't look on the TP for gear that I can craft, crafting gear is a significant part of my gameplay in any game with crafting, I don't do it to make money. Your mileage may vary depending on your playstyle. |
