It's easy to take 10 hours of video footage and edit the good bits together. I haven't found warriors to be OP in sPVP or WvW so far. If any class seems unbalanced to me I'd have to say the Mesmer in WvW can be a real pain in the ass, and of course the Thief if you don't see him coming.

Warriors I think are ok. What about Engis? That's the class that I find the hardest to play against > < Video was good thou.

Yeah, and the big thing about this video is about 90% of his victims JUST AREN T MOVING. They're standing there waiting for hundred blades to chop them like logs. Sorry for them, but what do you expect when standing in front of a skill that leaves its caster unable to move? So yeah they die quickly. Proves nothing. Nice video though |

No.
As they said themselves, they're not going to rush out and nerf anything people haven't learned to counter.
It's pathetic, there are SO many ways to counter ANY burst combo in game, if you haven't taken the time to figure out how or considered spec'ing to take these things in to account, that's your fault. That you think they should rush out and change something you hven't figured out how to counter is nothing but an illustration of how lazy and entitled some gamers are. 'I can't figure out how to combat this, so change it!', yeah...that'll lead to a good game. I've yet to play a warrior, but they're very popular and something I fight in PvP a lot. Guess what? For each of the classes I do play I've figured out how to combat this, or specific burst combos of other classes. Here's some tips: Learn what the deadly combos are, learn their tells (animations, a voice over, or weapon sets). Look at our abilities and traits, decide how you can deal with those burst situations. Every class has some decent burst potential, and they're ALL learnable, recognisable and able to be countered. If someones a glass cannon, it usually only takes 1 or 2 traits/abilities to counter/survive/nullify that burst, and when that's over, they're pretty much a wet rag until CDs are over. More than enough time for you to begin manipulating the fight. Seriously, take a long hard look at whatever you're having trouble with, then look at your traits & skills - there are plenty of tools on EVERY SINGLE profession to deal with glass cannon burst. I agree with ArenaNets stance, I'm glad they're standing their ground and not making knee jerk decisions based on uninformed conclusions of lazy players. Ask for help if you're having trouble, but crying for a nerf (an unjustified one like this as well) will get you no where.

When you stand still in HB, you die. So, don't stand still. Dodge. That guy isn't even using a stun / immobilise skill like Bolas.

So it needs a nerf because people are standing still while they get smashed with a frenzied 100 Blades attack? |

Let me guess before watching the video; Hundred Blades? Yeah.. and you didn't see all the times he got dunked hard when someone throws up a block or CC just as he starts his attack. |

I love responding to HB with Blurred Frenzy. Usually HB spammers are too dumb to see when they need to dodge.

nice video.. warriors are hardly OP in sPVP though.. many of their hardest hitters are easily avoidable and to really get some insane burst you need a full adren bar.. For a more defensive spec was doing good damage though. Also throughout the video he was using all his utility skills and his adrenaline skill so not sure what you mean by only two skills
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg |

Originally posted by Johes Most to blame are the idiot enemies who stand still while the warrior does hundred blades. Dodge, and the warrior is screwed and just wasted his main damage source. I personally switched to a dual sword bleed spec for PvP. The sword finisher is much better than hundred blades (roots the victims). |

The 100b warriors are one trick ponies, classes that can break root/snare can get out before 100b, in WvW against the server that had 3 orbs (15% health + 150 to all stats) I got knocked down and a warrior was next to me and hit me with 100b for 5K PER hit, I was dead before he finished swinging... |

Originally posted by Scalpless I like hitting Death Shroud with my traited Retaliation just as they come in.... hillarious watching them chew chunks out of their own HP pool as I drop back into normal form and stack a load of bleeds their armour doesn't reduce.... Nerf bat calls are uncalled for until the various ways of countering an attack or ability have been explored and rejected as ineffective - and HB is NOT such an ability.... I think the OP already has enough to go on in terms of what works from this short thread alone. |

I could cherry-pick clips of my Thief doing 10-12k AoE cluster bumbs on scrubs with crappy gear, but what would that accomplish? Some idiot would watch it, think all Thieves do that kind of damage to everyone, and call for nerfs.

Shout/KD Hammer builds are the way to play a War in sPvP. 100b is a good when running a strike team or to ninja npc boss kills. Def not OP 1v1.

Technically you can't move because its signer, flurry, bulls rush, 100b, so you're KD and eat damage. But every class should have a stun removal ability. See War with 2h sword and save it until he charges or time your dodge to counter. A good 2h War playstyle isn't hack n slash but hit and run. Hide behind los and combo unsuspecting passerbys. It's an effective build just not OP. OP dmg for a War was triple axe until they nerfed sigil of doom.

Before I quit, we ran a strike team to harass capture points. Setup was 100b war, shouts war, hs ninja. It's a brutal combo of air heals, chain cc, and burst.
