Dark Vale Games has announced that over 18,000 players have been invited into the first round of closed beta testing for FORGE, the upcoming PvP centric title. Included in that number are all customers who have preordered the game as well as those who registered earlier in the year for the opportunity to assist the team with FORGE.

“With the Beta kicking off we’re moving into the home stretch of development and it’s time for our most important focus group – our players – to tell us what still needs to be tweaked and adjusted as we get closer to release,”  said Tim Alvis, COO/CTO of Dark Vale Games.  “We’re really encouraged by the success of our pre-order program as well as the support we’ve been getting through Steam’s Greenlight.  With the fan base we have playing the Beta now and the new players we’re adding with pre-orders -- we’re confident we will get the feedback we need to produce one of the best PC multiplayer games of 2012, and at a great indie price.”

Stay away from this game,there are far better games to play FOR FREE.

This guy clearly has no idea what he is talking about, i think he does not like fps.. still tried it and got owned so hard it made him cry.

Tbh at this game its... you either really like it or you hate it. Ofcourse you get immature comments like this then.

I myself enjoy this game and think its quite the idea to make something like this.

installed, played 45 minutes and then -> uninstall.exe

they still have a lot of work here, it should be labelled as alpha not beta!!!!
