Honestly, based on some of his comments and decisions, it would have been better for the game had he left sooner in my opinion.

Although BioWare was pretty far into developing what is unfortunately a pretty medicore mmorpg in most respects (at least in my opinion) EA seems to have pretty much gutted another developer.
 Why do I write, create, fantasize, dream and daydream about other worlds? Because I hate what humanity does with this one. BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward. |

That probably means that there will be less story and more other MMO features. Not that I am happy about it, as I absolutely love the story. Oh well, only time will tell.... And... BioWare Austin is actually hire people now... check

Not that I care really I mean, In my eyes I still see it sinking no matter who leaves the company and who joins, I know the direction the game is going after seeing a few months of it, not very well thought out trying to tear down blizzard.

Nothing can tear down WoW, only WoW can do it to itself /shrug. I don't really see any interesting titles coming soon, people are already slowly bored of GW2 and MoP seems to be not as succesful as was supposed to, I noticed at least on my server in last couple days lots of players in chat saying that they just came back /shrug I guess we shall see if BioWare can deliver updates as promissed, time will tell.

SWG 2.0 is not coming... Get used to it:)
PS. Lots of people like SWTOR, me included. The pessimism around the game sure taking it's toll though.
PS2. And as nothing interests you in SWTOR I have no interest in anything GW2 delivers. We all like different things. Lets all get along /grin

He had this coming. Hes one of the main reasons, amongst many else, for the failure that SWTOR is.
Good riddance...
Next up hopefully is Jimbo Ohlen. These two guys were principal catalysts in SWTORs mediocrity.... |

Yeah I think all of the “high profiled” folks have left the building except for James Ohlen. I’m not sure if there is anyone else still working on the game from pre-launch (upper management).

Yeah, it's not particularly "new" news, but still. Sad part is, he'll get hired on somewhere else, and be given more chances to create games that suck. There's something about game industry managers/designers/executives that makes it so that they can all royally screw things up to no end, yet still get hired by new companies. |
