August - September have been great.

Sleeping Dogs, Darksiders II, Dark Souls PTD, Unmechanical, Torchlight II, Guild Wars 2, Symphony, FTL , Borderlands 2, CS GO, Transformers FoC, Black Mesa...

Borderlands 2 - Hell yes.  Play it just about everyday since it was released.

TorchLight 2 - Yes. When i'm not playing Borderlands 2 I'm probably playing this.

Guild Wars 2 - No. Got to 47 don't know how long ago.  That was the last time I logged in.  It just doesn't do anything for me. Love Guardian class though.

Good observation! The last couple months have seen a bunch of good games besides these three.

Since no one agrees, can anyone name three equally good PC hits that released in a roughly 1 month time frame?

GW2 91%/83% user

Borderlands 2 89%/81% user (this should be higher, a few too many spamming zeros I think)

TL2 89%/91% user (for $20 it's hard to find a negative here!)

Actually, I think I'd shift the trinity there to Torchlight 2, Borderlands 2, and X-Com. 3 fantastic games all released in less than a month's time.

GW2 can't be part of it because it has no trinity

2011 October- November was pretty fantastic. 

Skyrim, Batman AC, Saints Row 3 & BF3.

Don't worry, I agree haha. There is a lot of unbased hostility towards GW2 on these forums because it isnt a sandbox and because it is popular. It is cool to hate popular things you realise.

Finding it hard to split my time between the three.

GW2: 8/10

BL2: 7.5/10

TL2: 9/10

I bought them all and I'm not upset. I play TL2 more than the others but thats personal preference. I like top down ARPG the most out of all games.

If you do purchase one, just know they are good games FOR THERE GENRE. If you don't like MMO's, you won't like GW2. If you don't like shooters mixed with RPG, you won't like BL2. If you don't like ARPG's, you won't like TL2. I know it's obvious... Just saying =-)

PS: D3: 4/10      =-P

All 3 games are great, but other years have had stronger releases.

Nov 2004, was a really big month for me personally. HL2, Halo 2, MGS3, DBZ, CS:S, EQ2, WoW.

End of May to June 2008, just because of ME and MGS4.

Mid Oct to Nov 2009. First Borderlands and Torchlight! Dragon Age, Bayonetta, MW2, L4D2, AC2.
